Survivor: Cambodia Second Chance is the 31st season of Survivor (for those unfamiliar with the show, there are two seasons each year). It begins Wednesday, September 23, 2015 on CBS at 8/7c.
I'm sorry for the late ping. I've been waiting - in vain - for CBS to finish updating the Survivor page. According to my DVR setting, the season premier is going to be a 90 minute episode.
The producers selected 32 previous cast members - 16 women and 16 men. The selection criteria were that (1) they have played before only once, and (2) have never won. From this list, fans voted for their 10 favorite women and 10 favorite men. The finalists were announced on the Survivor finale on Wedneday, May 20, 2015.
Survivor exclusive: Immunity idols to be hidden at challenges this season
The players range in age from 22 to 55. Seven are from California, with four from Southern California. Two each are from New York and North Carolina. One each are from Arizona, Connecticut, Illinois, Oregon, Louisiana, Massachusetts, Missouri, Texas, and Washington (state).
Bayon Tribe (magenta buffs): Andrew, Ciera, Jeremy, Joe, Kass, Keith, Kimmi, Monica, Stephen, Tasha
Takeo Tribe (green buffs): Abi-Maria, Jeff, Kelley, Kelly, Peih-Gee, Shirin, Spencer, Terry, Vytas, Woo
Cast bios - unfortunately, this has not yet been updated for the new season. :(

Videos: Survivor Thank You, Survivor Returns This Fall, Meet the Cast, More videos, including cast interviews
Note: Although some videos will continue to be free, CBS will be requiring people to sign up for their CBS All Access subscription system in order to view other videos (one month free trial offer, $5.99 per month thereafter - sorry, not for me!). You'll know if the particular video is free or not when you click on it.

Pretty good blindside.
Monica, what were you thinking.
Kind of short clip - but I got the impression somebody was sick.
Hey, I’ve been known to be wrong.
Bad news coming down the pike for one survivor next week. Never a good sign when Jeff comes calling in camp.

As of Survivor: Nicaragua, this is a new Survivor ping list. The old list is no longer available, so I would appreciate it if any of you could ping interested parties to this thread. Thank you. :)
If you want to be added to or removed from this ping list, please let me know.
Boo on the editors. I highly suspect one conversation from this episode was from after something happens next week. What they did was, imo, unforgivable. That ranks right up there with photoshopping the F4 in one of the early seasons. Bad, bad, Mark.
The island gods smiled on Jeremy. He should have been the one booted for messing up both challenges (not Wigglesworth) until Monica shot herself in the foot. Nothing wrong with an all girl alliance but not at this late date and not at the expense of dumping on your original team.
Good on Spencer and Keith for doing so well in the challenges. Of course, that’ll put the target on them at the merge.
I wont spoil it for you. It is pretty well known what happened and why and how it all turned out. It’s up to you on whether you want to know the info. There are a number of places to find it.

No polar bears but lots of black bears and cougars. No silly games, no outside help until you tap out.
Nasty food challenge!
Bring it on!
Ugh! I hate the nasty food

Don’t you just love it when a vegetarian is forces to choose between eating meat or getting the boot? All those holier than thou convictions fly out the window when it boils down to $$$$.
They should have booted Spencer last week and Tasha the week before. They are the big threats. Varner was no threat to anyone and could have been held onto like placeholder Abi. Monica’s boot was simply based on emotion. She could have stayed a few more days and gotten rid of when she ticked more people off along about first jury. Woo, who’s character arch is crashing, is similar to Abi in that he votes with whomever spoke with him last. Come on, people, you’re making the same mistakes as you did the first time. After 31 seasons, one would think they’d learn to keep the pawns and go after the power players as early as possible.
I’ll be in the chair watching at 8:00 PM.
I’ll be watching but flipping over to the debate during commercials.

So sad to see Terry pulled due to his family emergency. I can’t imagine getting that kind of news while playing a game on TV. Looks like is son came through it, which is great.
