Glenn Beck is having an absolute hissy on the radio right now. In epic meltdown, he is literally rambling and mad at the world. The In the course of the first 45 minutes in the program we've learned that:
- Sarah Palin is a clown - Trump supporters are no different than Obama supporters in 2008/2012 -Don Lemon on the other hand, is an honest guy trying to do the right thing -Ted Cruz is in Donald Trump's hip pocket
I honestly thought at one point he was going to scream "STOP LIKING SOMEONE I DON'T LIKE!!!!!!!!!!!!!". It seems ironic to me that a guy who blathers on about how we need to have a dialogue with people we disagree with apparently doesn't extend that courtesy to anyone who doesn't immediately "snap to" and agree that Donald Trump is the Antichrist. It will be interesting to see if he becomes more and more unhinged if the Trump wave continues.
Is anyone else listening to this and if so, what are your thoughts?
As far as I am concerned, the biggest candidates for Beasthood were Hitler, Stalin, and Mao, nobody since these idiots has come close in terms of actual murders committed, unless of course we include abortion, which we should. Then that would make Margaret Sanger the Beast.
He was really good years ago. His TV show in the beginning was must-watch.
But good grief did he get way too emotional. He turned into one of those guys you would find in a doomsday cult.
And the crying! That is a turn off for me like nothing else.
How can you stand listening to him on the radio? The poor man is mentally unstable.
But I wish no harm to him and occasionally he is right. I think he means well but just can’t focus his mind and think sometimes.
One minute he’s a conservative constitutionalist reporting the truth about Islam. Then he’s pro-homosexual special rights and pro-Muslim - a reborn liberaltarian. Now he’s a socialist. He’s dying...then he’s not. I truly feel sorry for him.
Trump knows he’s badmouthing him so I imagine he was not well received and treated with respect at the Trump/Cruz Iran protest in DC and Sarah did not protect him.
Such struggles for a man in a high profile position. I don’t think he knows who he is inside. He’s not grounded. I hope he can get help. Some people are not mentally and emotional made to look at the ugly world as seen through the eye of political science every day. He’s saturated in it - day and night. God bless him.
Oh, Catsrus, I am so sorry I mistook you for “either you like Cruz or you like Trump” which is silly. You can like both of them. I never want to insult anyone who recognizes the value of Ted Cruz.
As far as Beck is concerned, years ago I thought he was funny, but he had the idea that calling convenience stores and making fun of the person answering, was funny. It wasn’t. And since then, I just feel sorry for him. He is unlistenable.
Actually, as Mormon, Beck misses out on a lot of fundamental Christian truths.
2004 was when I first listened to him. “project Waffle Face” with the John Kerry float was hilarious. Back then his show was like a more funny version of Limbaugh. Ever since the Bundy Ranch sell-out I haven’t been to the Blaze, looked at any of his books, nor will I ever listen to his show.
He really did start to believe his own hype.
The only time I listen to Beck is when I’m on a long drive and can’t find any other talk show on the morning radio. (sports talk is not included)
The “real beast” in Revelation was Nero.
For example:
Nero came home late, his wife, six months pregnant, asked him where he had been, he became enraged and kicked her to death. The next morning, he felt remorse for her (she was beautiful) so he ordered a look-a-like to be found. A teenage male was found that looked amazingly like his wife, so he had him castrated and he married him.
That was one of his milder episodes.
I’m really not one to ignore either of their warts. I calls ‘em as I seez ‘em. But, they are the best 2 we have on our side - warts and all.
I stopped listening to him ages ago, can’t take his silliness and stupid comments about everyone under the sun.
I think you are right.
Part of it is probably due to the vitriol toward Trump. Part of it is they crying thing.
But there’s something else he’s been doing that I think is driving people away. It seems like every problem that comes down the pike, he automatically wants to go to the “what would MLK/Gandhi do?” card. I’m sorry, but you’re speaking to conservatives. We are more interested in what would Washington do? What would Jefferson do? What would Reagan do?
Martin Luther King was, by his own admission, a “Democratic Socialist”. As in, the same as Bernie Sanders. Gandhi is always quoted by people as “liking Christ but not Christians”. You can’t keep quoting people who are heroes of the left to a right wing audience and think that at some point there wont be some disillusionment. We aren’t all going to get all giddy about singing “We Shall Overcome”.
This is news worthy? Beck always has a tantrum! He’s a feeble mined child that sucks in money from other feeble minded children.
Well, he was certainly freaky and likely insane, but he did not murder millions. At least he didn’t eat his new found castrated man wife like Jeffrey Dahlmer would have.
At one time, each of them had no murders under their belt.
It’s been so long since I’ve listened to the weepy one, I’m only reminded of his existence when someone on FR posts about him.
Funny how Beck has, supposedly, banned all things Trump, on his shows....yet has to continuously talk about.....Trump.
His hypocritical hitching of himself to Trump has become pathetic. Now he’s taking stabs at Palin and Cruz, too? After they’ve done nothing but support him?
Certifiable.
Now that the NFL is upon us, my guess is it'll be a Friday showcase again.
Thats funny you mention that, I’m interested to see if they do it tomorrow. That is one of the redeeming parts of the program anymore...love some More ON Trivia.
True, and then they murdered millions and still they were not the Beast.
