Are you not eagerly anticipating Donald Trumps announcement about whether he will run for president? This is a serious question, despite all the mockery that is aimed at the real estate mogul. Skepticism about his potential candidacy is understandable, but the tone towards Trump would likely change dramatically were he to announce his candidacy.

Whatever the Donald decides to do, that will remain a sobering assessment of some of the major players in the Republican primary. Taken together with his evaluation of the causes of Romneys loss, along with his prophetic dooming of Romneys third bid, it would seem that Trump finds himself in the ironic position of a billionaire speaking truth to power. In fact, I suspect that its too much truth for the liking of some.

The thought makes me “unwell”.
Part of it would be entertainment value, for sure.
I honestly wonder about Trump / Palin.
Palin, I would assume, would unfortunately have high “negatives”. Meanwhile, Rand Paul is doing really well with younger and with unaffiliated voters concerned about our loss of freedoms. Palin would be a great Secretary of Energy in that dream administration.
I (completely) disagree with your assessment of Palin.
100%.
But we’re on similar wavelengths anyway.
Isn’t Trump pro-abortion?
I don’t know the answer to that question.
Anyone?
You’re promoting this guy and do not even know his position?
I don’t know every position he as, I’m just for him.
I like everything I have heard the guy say. I like that he’s strong on China. I like that he’s strong on America.
I like that he’s for jobs.
I like his background. I like the fact he doesn’t mince words. I like him quite a bit. But no I don’t know all of his positions.
We’re a year and a half from the election for crying out loud. And frankly abortion is not a make-or-break position for me personally. I am however (very) interested in American jobs.
So no. I don’t know his position on abortion, and I actually don’t really care terribly.
Let others worry about that subject.
I am strongly for his positions with regards to American jobs however.
Big time.
‘Too put of by that coif.
I think he claims to be pro-life now ...but I still do not think he understands the REAL reason why our country has descended so rapidly in the last several years nor that it has been going down for quite some time. Even many of our citizens STILL do not understand that when a nation turns its back on God....it is in fact turning its back on His protection and blessing as well.
What has he said he will do to increase jobs in America? All I have ever heard him say is “I know how to do it.” What, exactly will he do?
btw, he NOW claims to be prolife (with the exceptions.) He claims to have changed from being proabortion because he knew someone who was considering abortion, but changed her mind and had a wonderful man.
He’s a shallow and vain man. But, I like him, as I like Joe Biden - comic relief.
If he did NOTHING else but build a real border security ... fence, wall, whatever .... he will have accomplished more than even Reagan
He IS a business negotiator ... and if you felt you got screwed out of a deal, HE would have felt like a winner ... and he would be correct ...
An attitude (properly a winner) desperately needed in American politics
Trump scares me only in that he can move me away from Cruz and I will struggle with being Perot'd
being put off by a coif is identical to girls swooning over clinton ... one hates, one loves ... and both only because of looks
I’m sorry but I find it impossible to take Trump seriously when he says he’s the best choice to be president.
Trump’s straight talk is a wake up call to the rest of the troop. He’s not likely to be the eventual candidate but what he’s saying has impacted the campaign.
Trump not for President 2016 or ever.
Well, people who have no personal ideology don’t care about positions. They go by popularity and whims.
