Many long time supporters of Governor Sarah Palin, those of us who have followed her career since early 2007, a year and a half before she was to be chosen as the Republican nominee for Vice President and became an international figure, have been wondering why the Governor has been silent now that several Republicans, including her good friend Ted Cruz, have announced they are officially in for 2016. Maybe, just maybe we have our answer.

Thanks KC_Lion.
I love you Sarah but I hope this isn’t like 2012.
You have my vote. I may even write you in
I can’t see it happening. She hasn’t been putting together any organization in the early primary states, unless she’s running the best-kept secrecy operation in political history.
I think she serves a purpose by drawing liberal and squish ire, letting the candidates like Cruz avoid some of the invective, but her time to run, if she were going to, was four years ago.
I'm pretty sure the qualifications for "genius" transcend even that mighty display of mediocre knee-jerk guesswork.
” Thank you for handing down the edict, we’ll all just mumble our undeserving appreciation and follow your brilliant lead here.
But, aren’t we supposed to vote based on their track record in office, and not on our “feelings?”
Silly me, huh? “
I never said she didn’t have a right to enter the race and compete with the other candidates. I was simply echoing the feelings of another Freeper that she was desperately needed in 2012 and I would have done anything to see her get elected that cycle. This time around, Cruz is filling that void for me and Walker is a decent backup choice. I would no doubt support her wholeheartedly if she made it to the general, but I’m just not all that enthusiastic about her joining this crowded field. But hey, if you want to promote her candidacy (should she decide to run)and her “stellar” track record, I certainly won’t stand in your way.
I’m going to bookmark this comment, just so I can tell you that I told you so.
BTW, I would not anticipate an announcement in the next few weeks, she’s probably busy planning Bristol’s wedding which looks to be in about 24 days.

We have the very best, most capable conservative candidate -the likes of which we haven't seen in very long time- in Ted Cruz.
Sarah should back him instead.
Everybody should back him now- the earlier we coalesce around one candidate the better .
Praying people will unite for his candidacy.
Whether she runs or not, I’d pay money to see her in an open debate against Hildabeast.
It was unexpected when Sarah stopped her bus driving across America tour suddenly, and essentially without explanation. Hard to accept.
Comments were she was told by the republican party they would not endorse her,.. sad time. There is no point in eating a dead horse.
Sarah has what it takes, clear vision, bravery, spunk, EXPERIENCE, conservative values and she knows how to win. However she did fold without comment!!!
Attacks on her personally and her family are still appearing every few weeks. NONE OF US WOULD AGREE TO RUN IN SUCH AN UGLY TIME WITH HER HAVING TWO CHILDREN STILL AT HOME. OUR LOSS.
Conservatives are not known for standing and fighting to the end. we divide and turn away easily, based on past actions. GOD HELP AMERICA! WE are turning away from our Christian faith, and we do not stand strong ourselves.
It appears we gave up without a fight! How tragic for our nation, our children, our freedom, our future, and most of all AMERICA!!!
This O'Bunghole cabal is the most treasonous, anti-constitutional bunch of thugs Chicago ever foisted on the rest of U.S., and I'd like to see them do the perp walk.
You think Cruz or Walker is that committed to "principal?" Let's do bookmark this for future reference, shan't we?
“You think Cruz or Walker is that committed to “principal?” Let’s do bookmark this for future reference, shan’t we?”
I think Cruz absolutely is — he’s shown this in his run-ins with the GOPe in his short time in the Senate. I’m not totally certain about Walker, that’s why for me he’s a distant second. His main strengths of course are executive experience and holding firm against the union thugs. But he has been shown to waver on some issues, so the jury’s still out on him.
You raise a good point about what Sarah did in Alaska and many in the GOP have forgotten how she knocked out a corrupt sitting governor of her own party to become governor. I just wish she’d run last time around and I was quite let down that she didn’t. Now, it just seems like we have some better alternatives than in 2012, but if she gets in (which I have serious doubts whether she will), I’ll give her another look.
Cruz will withdraw his candidature once Gov Palin announces. She may anoint him as her VP and he can run in 2024 after she completes her two terms.
Oh, Hiya "rrrod."
By the way, NAMBLA called, they want their "hard earned" corner on the effete market back, Petunia.
Or, she could bake a nice pie, or some cookies, huh? Thanks for the revelatory insight...
