Many long time supporters of Governor Sarah Palin, those of us who have followed her career since early 2007, a year and a half before she was to be chosen as the Republican nominee for Vice President and became an international figure, have been wondering why the Governor has been silent now that several Republicans, including her good friend Ted Cruz, have announced they are officially in for 2016. Maybe, just maybe we have our answer.

I don’t think she is running, nor that she could win the nomination.
Nice lady, but most of America thinks Tina Fey speaks for her.
She never learned to speak without the high screechy voice either. If she were serious, you would see an effort.

I just am doubting she is going to run. What will be just as much fun to watch is her helping someone win and then being named a cabinet member.
The joy of watching various libs melt down would be better than priceless......

Completely agree.
As far as I’m concerned, Cruz is the superior candidate, by far. Let Sarah get behind him and help push him into the White House. Enough games, already.

Also, watching her be successful as Sec/energy or Sec/interior would be awesome payback.

If the immigrants are of the legal variety, then the whole question of ‘soft on immigration’ becomes moot. It’s not a law enforcement issue.

Why the dickens would she 'destroy' Cruz? From my vantage point, she made him. The GOP supported Dewhurst. Palin catapulted Cruz into the Senate. They agree on everything, insofar as I can tell.
To: Lakeshark
THAT is exactly my position. I’d love for President Cruz to name her Sec’y. Dep’t. Homeland Security, Sec. Interior, any no. of other positions. Heck, Nat. Sec. Advisor would thrill me like little else.

Ted or Sarah. One or the other. Please don’t split the vote.
She’s smart enough to not to. I do not think she’ll jump in.

She isn’t going to run against Cruz. She likes him as much or more than we do.

“If it wasnt for Palin, there would be no Cruz.”
Precisely. Not to say that Cruz is not good (or better), but Palin was there from the beginning. Not to make it sound like Dole-sque, but THIS is her time.

"Thats where shed be really useful." Yah. Or, how about "barefoot and pregnant in the kitchen?" She'd be real useful there too, huh? Just so long as she isn't "president."
She was WAAAAYYYY too successful as a Governor to make a good president, huh?
You're a real genius...

"My feelings exactly. I wish her the best, but her time is past." Thank you for handing down the edict, we'll all just mumble our undeserving appreciation and follow your brilliant lead here.
But, aren't we supposed to vote based on their track record in office, and not on our "feelings?"
Silly me, huh?

I like Ted Cruz, BUT I love Governor Palin. The two of them together would be awesome. If she runs it's a no brainer but I won't believe it until she says it. We've been mislead by others before.

She would make a GREAT Secretary of the Interior in the Cruz administration.
