It appears that Star Trek Beyond may be the title of the upcoming Star Trek film, lucky number 13 in the franchise. As far as the storyline is concerned, the title suggests that the new film will venture farther out into the galaxy than we have seen in the previous two Abrams films, as co-writer Simon Pegg has been hinting at for some time now.

downtown....Great song.
Petunia ? My brain is foggy tonight. Petula Clark.
Will there be an Ensign JarJar?
There will be the Maud’dib
Be careful where you aim when you say that name!
I have high hopes for this film. I agree with you about the first two reboot films...the first one was excellent, and the second one, while good, wasn’t quite up to par. This one, well...JJ has nothing to do with it. The director is Justin Lin, who did 4 of the ‘Fast & Furious’ films including the 1st one.
My sister is one of those ‘rabid’ TOS fans who loved the original films (except for ‘Final Frontier’ and ‘Nemesis’), and hated the reboot. She had to sit through the 18-minute excerpt of ‘Into Darkness’ when she went to see another film. Her hubby said “you could see the steam coming out her ears”.
And then there's Maude'Dib.
and of course a Tleilaxu Ghola - Vadar
I agree...yawn...
So what? Those idiots have Shawshank Redemption at #1 above The Godfather. Ridiculous.
Star Trek Beyond Any More Useful Entertainment To Be Gotten From This Done To Death Franchise.
And then I saw her in 2005 with Andy Williams at his theater in Branson. I thought the average age of the audience was 70-75 at the time. I was 31, and aside from the ushers, I was clearly the youngest person in the audience. Since I’m not really a fan of country music (despite being chin deep in the industry where I live), that’s the only thing I’d have wanted to see there. :-P
You presume orbit. Ships with that kind of power can hover without orbiting. You’re thinking shuttle or atlas technology. (This is not your fathers chemical rockets)
I don’t know where you missed the story. It was there. An alternate universe and all the principles come together but it comes out different.
If you can’t suspend reality for TOS staples as Wrath Of Kahn, I suppose you can’t for Into Darkness.
Let me guess you like Dune from the 80s. Or, Gag, Prometheus. Or barf Contact
Remember this is Scifi not Shakespeare.
That would give an entirely new meaning to the Captain's Log.
“Beyond” what??
Beyond the lens flare?
I’m generally not a fan of country myself. Is that all there is there?
I’d rather go to Bronson, Missouri.

It was the third Khan story. Ricardo wasn’t there.
