Actually, it’s a pretty open secret that Lincoln slept in the same bed with other men. Look it up.

So did everyone else in that time frame.
Only the rich had single beds and when you traveled you often shared beds with strangers.

Actually, its a pretty open secret that Lincoln slept in the same bed with other men. Look it up. As did everyone else. Once beds were mostly associated with sleeping...not with sex of all sorts.
To: Edgar3
And back in those days a bed mattress was expensive and also shared body heat was used to keep warm.

That wasn't uncommon in those days. And it wasn't a sexual thing.
Hotels weren't common in what had recently been frontier country, and they didn't have enough beds for times when the courts were in session or other major events occurred.

I'm sure it's true since you “looked it up!” It's amazing what you find looking things up. Did you know 0bama’s a “constitutional scholar?”

Actually, its a pretty open secret that Lincoln slept in the same bed with other men. Look it up. Slept. Not had sex. It was common in that time to rent space in beds in crowded hotels when rooms were full. Private rooms were very expensive.

So did half the travelers on the frontier and many renters. Privacy, as we know it, was rare.

Sleeping in the same bed is not the same as sodomy.

So? From age 12 until 17 I took showers every school day with a bunch of guys.
We called it gym class.

Lincoln sleeping in the same bed with another man does not make him gay.
Many men have slept in the same bed with another man — when traveling together to save money or in the military. It didn’t make them gay either.

So did everyone else at that time, not gay. Look it up.

Lincoln slept in the same bed with other men. Sleeping in a bed with another man does not make a man homosexual. FORNICATING with another man in the same bed does. Show me the evidence that Abe Lincoln buggered another man and I'll credit this revisionist bilge.
It was not uncommon for strangers to share a bed in the mid 19th century. To cast that in a 21st-century homosexual light is telling in its laughable desperation.
