Scientists at the University of California, Los Angeles, say theyve discovered a microorganism that hasnt evolved in more than two billion years the longest ever absence of evolutionary evidence in a single species.
Researchers say the deep sea creature whose evolutionary stasis is detailed in the journal PNAS doesnt disprove evolution so much as bolster Darwins case.
The rule of biology is not to evolve unless the physical or biological environment changes, which is consistent with Darwin, lead study author J. William Schopf, a professor of earth, planetary and space sciences at UCLA.
SNIP
Schopf says it is certainly fascinating that some life hasnt evolved for nearly half the history of the planet Earth, but that the discovery fits perfectly with Darwins ideas.

Methinks the good professor protests too much. For the academic, everything life form must fit perfectly with Darwinism, because the alternative is too horrible to consider.

Has there been ANY proof that any life form has “evolved”?

That would be the democraticus gibsmedatum, a pea-brained organism that feathers its nest with goods stolen from productive beings and reproduces at an alarming rate.

Schopf says it is certainly fascinating that some life hasnt evolved for nearly half the history of the planet Earth, but that the discovery fits perfectly with Darwins ideas. It's pretty much inconceivable that they will ever find anything which makes them doubt Darwin. They have their conclusion. That's where they start. Then the evidence is massaged and re-interpreted until it fits the theory.
It's a heck of a lot like Global Warming.

So what the heck does Keith Richards have to do with all this? O wait! didn’t he fall from the top of a palm tree some years ago? Ok that makes sense why a photo of Keith is shown in this thread. =)

It couldn't have been a liberal species. Earlier genetic iterations of the liberal organisms would have died out whenever a new predator species appeared or they'd likely forgotten how to reproduce.

Ergo ... neither the physical nor the biological environment in the deep sea has changed ... at all ... in two billion years ... mmmmkay.
