Oh spare me. A quote from Lao Tzu is CLEARLY referencing the literal definition of warfare. You’re embarrassing yourself.

Thank you for correcting me. I still like Sherman as the one who in is own bizarre and intelligent way speaks for the team.

"If Belichek is so great, why did he fail so badly in Cleveland?"

Because the Cleveland Browns suck.

That's the same as asking, "If Einstein was really so smart, why did he fail math so badly?"

Genius reveals itself in its own time, is rarely recognized by its contemporaries, and cares not one iota what your feeble, plebian opinion of it might be.

Toolbag.

Did you read the evaluations of that “study” that we’re presented to you?. Did you fail to understand them as you’ve failed to understand more basic math?

Within here are some examples of flaws that even most innumerate can understand:

I wouldn’t expect your fondness to be swayed by a difference in his assigned position. :)

if the play was against the rules, then the refs are responsible for enforcing it. you’re all behaving like Marxists when they blame the gun for killing someone and not the person. its the refs fault, they should know the rules.

Your analogy is strained. The shooter is responsible, not the gun, or the police that "should have" stopped the shooting. Similarly the team that cheats or breaks a rule is responsible, not the football or the refs. They should have been punished immediately with a penalty, yes, that is on the refs. But don't absolve an illegal play with a statement that it's the refs fault.

Even at that, he didn’t do badly in Cleveland. He had a dilapidated team improved enough to be considered Superbowl contenders, Then the whole ‘move to Baltimore’ thing broke and the team fell apart. According to Ozzie Newsome, he further laid the groundwork for the teams’ build into NFL champions in Baltimore.

Belchek has a losing record with the Patriots when Tom Brady doesn’t play. He not only failed in Cleveland - he has the worst winning percentage of any Browns coach who lasted more than two years. He had five. Forrest Gregg has a lower winning percentage but we got tired of him after two years. Plus, he took over a Browns organization that had been in the playoffs and the AFC finals for a number of years leading to his hiring. He then put together the worst winning percentage of a Browns head coach over a five year period which resulted in the team moving to Baltimore and winning Super Bowls. No one in Cleveland will ever be a Bill Belichek fan

The play itself was perfectly legal. The Pats just failed to sub an intelligible tackle with another one.

No one in America could care less what a "Browns" fan thinks. I'm just waiting for the NAACP to insist that they change that "racist" name.

LMAO!!!!!

Cute stat. Now understand it.

Extremely few first year coaches make .500, especially when the previous coach is fired for the teams poor performance. That’s part of why they call them “rebuilding years”, and they are usually to year 3 before they get back to the level of going to the playoffs.

Rumor is SHE was cheating on HIM.

Besides...show me a man who calls himself a Christian and DOESN’T claim to have struggles and faults, and I’ll call it a lie. And I’ll be right.

Using a running back as an ineligible offensive lineman is a horrible idea, his speed is virtually worthless for blocking, and a charging linebacker will knock him backwards. Remember, a running back has a running start when he hits a linebacker. Give the running start to the linebacker and the advantage shifts, dramatically. Vereen vs. a charging Clay Matthews: no contest.

The Browns were 3-13 the year before Belichick was hired. They were 11-5 in 1994. In 1995, the team started off well, then collapsed under the move rumors and then announcement.

I don't claim to know the whole story, but I found the timing of the split interesting.

With the exception of the playoffs, the main purpose of the NFL serves to keep me entertained until college hoops start.
