Thomas Eric Duncan, who had ebola , flew into this country from Liberia and mingled and interacted with family, friends and others.
After a few days here he got so sick from ebola, he went to the Hospital in Dallas, but was sent home because he was misdiagnosed.
About 4 more days of mingling with others while still showing the symptoms, he was so sick he went back to the Dallas hospital by ambulance.
The CDC estimates about 84 people in Dallas had contact with him one way or the other.
Additionally the people on the airplanes he flew in could be possible ebola targets. Thats a lot of people in total.
Yet the only people that came in contact with him that have come down with ebola symptoms are 2 nurses at the Dallas Hospital. ((And they supposedly wore protective gear.)
Statistically , why arent there more infections?? This seems strange to me. -Tom
Yes, something wicked this way comes but it ain't only Ebola. People are starting to get afraid of pubic (did that on purpose) places and won't want to go to the polls to vote. Then what?
So weren't his family and friends close to him when he showed symptoms badly enough to make him go to the hospital, and then again when he came home for 4 days before going back to the hospital., (and they had no protective gear).
His family must have been closer personally to him than the nurses that were in protective gear.
Especially his girlfriend. -Tom

The daughter of the fiance is a fairly sensible person who apparently did her best to protect her family, that being said the guy was vomiting all over the place, so yeah, it makes no sense.
1st off, he was sick before he step on our land.
However, I am struck by a certain irony.
The white man (Italians and Portugese) are constantly excoriated for brining disease that nearly wiped out the Indians (Natives, Blanket Butts,...Whatever))
This jackass, uhmm black dude, came to America, knowing he had a disease that flat out kills.
Why isn’t he equally reviled for killing Americans?
Was this black pay back?
Inquiring minds want to know...

Duncan was probably shedding 100 times as much virus right before he died than when he last saw his family.
Simply because one is exposed to Ebola does not mean they will contract Ebola.
One person could get a single drop of Ebola tainted blood on their face and be infected while another could have a bucket of Ebola blood dumped on their head and not get infected.
I would not try that test at home.

Someone will have to find enough votes in the trunk of a car to give every office in the entire country to the rats?
Considering he left their apartment barfing, it would seem his family would’ve been close to him during his *highly contagious* period.
We haven’t heard a word about his Dallas girlfriend (whom he presumably had lots of sex with - i.e. “fluids”) and her 4 kids.
It’s like they’re GONE! Not a peep.
There is no reason at all to think that Duncan knew he had the disease. He probably knew he’d possibly been exposed, and that he might have the disease.
But probably dozens of people in Africa are possibly exposed for each one that actually gets the disease.
Ooooooohhhhh...
What if 9 ne of the family members is a carrier???!!!!!!!!!
They keep moving the goalposts which is a sign they are in unknown territory. -Tom
That seems to be the accepted fact. But I would add this --
Duncan was in Africa. He cared for a dying pregnant woman.
He then seems to have said, "Hmmmm. I've been exposed. I'm sure I'm going to die. I should quit my job, fly to America, and seek top medical help. Certainly I feel fine, there's no trace of any symptom, but I know I've received a death sentence."
And he was right about that. He got infected from his exposure. He thought he had a death sentence, and he did.
Why was he so vulnerable and caught it from the exposure he had, yet his family seems to have been less vulnerable and did not receive the immediate death sentence when they cared for him?
I know you get more contagious as time goes by, but he seems to have been darn sick before he finally got admitted to the hospital.
Why black pay back? Africans were never wiped out by diseases imported by whitey. Quite the opposite, in fact.
European colonizers sailed around Africa for centuries, with little or no colonization of Africa itself till the mid/late 19th century.
This was because till medical science advanced enough to provide some minimal level of protection, white men who invaded Africa just died. During the 18th century, the average lifespan of factors on the Slave Coast was measured in months.
They are enjoying the fruits of their non-labor:
Their four bedroom luxury digs, compliments of the US taxpayers.
Bet it is furnished with brand new stuff and loaded with food.
OR option
4. Their gated community is in Gitmo and they're all sick.
5. Duncan and his alleged girlfriend both got big $$$ to bring oBola here IRto this country.
You can bet your ass that there will be a very, very bin increase in infected people in the near future.
