From Press conference live right now:
The 2nd person who contracted ebola was wearing the full protective gear as recommended by the CDC!
Wow!
Yet we are told by govt that ebola is difficult to get.
Effing liars.
So was the Spanish nurse.
What USED TO BE on the Web page of the CDC as of 8/2/14:
In this guidance healthcare personnel (HCP) refers all persons, paid and unpaid, working in healthcare settings who have the potential for exposure to patients and/or to infectious materials, including body substances, contaminated medical supplies and equipment, contaminated environmental surfaces, or contaminated air.

Transmission of Ebola virus from pigs to non-human primates
A study conducted in 2012 showed that Ebola was able to travel between pigs and monkeys that were in separate cages and were never placed in direct contact.

Welcome to the Brave New World.
I think I've summed up the 0bola administration's position on that particular issue.... Now back to climate change....
and days less than the 21 days..
I watched the briefing. The Dr. Who was answering questions from the press was finally told to stop and was lead away from the podium. They are lying through their teeth.
Can you say airborne?
Yep.
Just watched it. This thing is easier to catch than they/we have been told. Now, there’s another set of people to be “monitored.” Where will it end?
Doctor couldn’t answer all questions due to patient privacy but said that this person wasn’t even part of the “watch list.” So I gather this person didn’t even have “major” contact with patient Duncan.
Clearly, this speaks volumes about the highly infectious nature of this deadly virus. It supports the notion that the infectious dose of virus is very low.
The average is 8.
Must have gotten careless while removing the suit.
Dear Lord, Protect us.
You can sit on the bus next to any and all persons infected with ebola. Heck, you can probably share needles with them too.
Orwell would be proud as well.
Yeah, some guys pulls him away saying he’s got to get him to another meeting...the officials are looking nervous. This doesn’t bode well...
Also the Texas Presbyterian hospital has closed their ER for now...
Always the fault of the employee never management.
