After realizing that people thought Arbys mainly served roast beef, the company made a poster showcasing a large stack of all the meats on the menu, which includes bacon and brisket, according to The Washington Post.
It worked.
People started coming in and asking, Can I have that? Arbys vice president of brand and corporate communications Christopher Fuller said.
Arbys decided to go with it, and the Meat Mountain was born. It will not be listed on the menu, but store associates will make it for the customers who request it. At $10, the sandwich includes (from the bottom up) two chicken tenders, 1.5 oz. of roast turkey, 1.5 oz. of ham, 1 slice of Swiss cheese, 1.5 oz. of corned beef, 1.5 oz. of brisket, 1.5 oz. of Angus steak, 1 slice of cheddar cheese, 1.5 oz. roast beef and 3 half-strips of bacon all on a bun.
The sandwich doesnt fit in the regular clamshell packaging, so if ordered, it comes wrapped in paper.
Series? I just might check that out!
It sounds good but these fast food restaurants need to be careful — if they put too much meat in the sandwich, people may actually taste it and realize they aren’t using the best quality beef.
I was in Dallas a few weeks ago, and had the Flying Pig sandwich at BoneDaddy’s. It has pulled pork, ham, bacon, and hot sausage in it. I had a quart-sized frosty mug of good Texas beer to wash it down.
Good stuff.
BoneDaddy’s ?
Needs more cheese, and triple up on the bacon.
And what about onions and pickles?
Gotta have it.
I’m going to wash it down with a 24oz cup of corn syrup!
I do love a double stack smokehouse brisket.
Corned beef, the most sensual of the processed meats!
Moochelle’s head exploded only because she wants that Arby’s sandwich in her belly!
My cardiologist is PO’d, but I’ve got to try at least one of these!
Not listed on the menu to keep all the NIMBY nanny food activists away.
LMAO!!! #12
A Hooters with better food and dimmer lights.
There was a band from Los Angles, CA., with the same name...
