I have spent a little time compiling links to threads about the Ebola outbreak in the interest of having all the links in one thread for future reference.
Please add links to new threads and articles of interest as the situation develops.
Thank You all for you participation.
CDC may learn the hard way. You don’t mess with Ebola. It don’t play.
I’ll see what I can find. We don’t have cable or sat anymore.
I remember at the time being outraged that they were playing games with people’s lives. And then there was that doofus judge prancing around in his street clothes at the apartment and driving the family to the new location, like this was nothing to worry about. If this were a movie, he would have been the first in line to bite it.
When the news was breaking, and one of the feeds reported it was someone who had been to the apartment, but didn’t live there, the first person I thought of was that idiot judge. When HE was told the news, I bet he had a little bit of a freak-out and possibly stained his shorts.
Prayers for the deputy, in case it is more than emotional distress.
I didn’t see it, either.
Can you fill us in? Two other deputies are going in... to where? The Care Center?

Seems to have been a whole lotta ‘glove touchin’ going on in Spain.
Or maybe, just maybe, like the nurses union said initially, the protective gear was not sufficient.

Well, he said that two other deputies.. one went into the apartment with Monnig and one drove Monnig’s car the following day after Monnig had driven it and after Monnig had been in the apartment, but before they quarantined the car had become ill and were going to seek treatment.
He didn’t say where..
I can’t say for certain who the guy interviewed was but he was from a Dallas sheriff’s association.. I have an idea who he was can email that to you..
I have to admit it sounds very unlikely that any of them would come down with Ebola given that they spent so little time in the apartment and the family members spent so much time with no symptoms.
I do not trust what the family members say though, as they may have known all along that he was infected and kept their distance. However, I doubt they could be that good even knowing he was infected to be able to dodge the virus...
