I've seen some negative comments about conservative talk radio host "Glen Beck" in here lately.
Wasn't he the one that brought a million conservatives to a rally in Washington DC? So I'm just curious, if there is one thing you don't like about Mr. Beck, what is it?
Have you dude..answered any replies?
Beck is a liberal. He claims conservative values but his actions are that of a liberal supporting liberal causes.
That’s too bad about Wilkow. I hadn’t heard that, until now. He has/had really good guests on...and asked great questions.
not true
I got that straight from one of his co-workers
Beck was going to go into seminary, but he dropped out at the last minute
he converted to Mormonism for his present wife
Mark Levin is awesome, I listen on podcast every morning, 12 hours late, but hey, I need to be in my car at night to hear WABC here in the south :)
He’s a Mormon. So according to most Freepers a cultist. God has his favorites apparently.
Same thing as bfl.
I agree with what others have said, the tears, the promise of something big coming and it never does. I saw him in person in Houston a number of years ago, he was funny, entertaining but then he lost me, first his TV show and then his radio program. The radio program is absolutely the worst thing I ever tried to listen to.
He is all over the map lately.
Yup
I feel bad for Beck and I wish him to be free of the worms eating his brain.
Race, you saying you heard something from someone doesn’t cut it, just post a decent source.
God has a preference among different religions? I’ve read that also.
dude, this is old news, he even talks about it on his show sometimes
his staff hated him while he was station manager in Hamden, he and that crew came to the bar I worked at in 83 or 84, they all told me he was late, they hated him, he came in, hung his head, just stood at the wall/bar and lamented how they hated him
As for my source, this guy was on the air 10 or 15 years ago on tat station, other stations, I think WELI is the AM station, there is an FM station that Beck was more involved with
Just because you never heard of something doesn’t make it false, either
CT is a small state, lots of us know lots of others of us
Dude, he has written a book on his conversion.
You just post that someone told you something once, you even have Glenn Beck attending Catholic seminary studying to be a Priest and then giving it up for a girl to become Mormon.
If I said he was already in seminary, then I made a mistake, sorry, my friend told me he was helping him get into the seminary, he was one of the people, I think it was in hartford, dont remember, but my friends is a staunch Catholic and a well known name in politics in CT
He converted because he met that Mormon gal, that is how all his work associates knew it
and Beck has said such on his radio show, I have told this story before and other CT people said they heard him say it on his show at different times
So, I never read his written account, but I know people who worked directly with him for several years at the station
he also bragged, before he took off on his own, that he was going to be bigger than limbaugh.
He is a true believer, but a showman more than an activist or effective speaker like Limbaugh or Mark Levin, but he was not thought of as doing it for love of country 100%, but as a direction to go to take advantage of right wing politics
What mormon gal did he meet that converted him?
His wife, I think.
I believe the family converted to Mormonism after church searching and rejecting the Christian churches, his wife was not a Mormon who converted him.
Oh. OK.
