Isn’t it pretty, the cover of the latest issue of TIME?
The paradigm shift continues and the outdated fear of fat is on its way out faster and faster.
You’d wish that some old-school fat phobics subscribed to the magazine. Unfortunately, I think this is hoping for too much, so I just emailed the cover to some of them.
Some people will still spread low-fat margarine on their bread as long as they live, as an old habit. But most people will soon realize that not only does it taste bad, but it’s also completely unnecessary.

I long ago stopped reading articles on what’s good for you and what’s bad. Take eggs for example, they were good, then bad, then good, then they’d kill you. Then you shouldn’t live without them. The same with fats, trans-fats and dozens of other things. First they’d be miracles then poison. Just eat moderately and ignore the food articles.
I have a sister in law and a mother in law, everything all the time has to be fat-free. It drives me up a wall. My problem is not fat, it’s carbs! Fat Free=more sugar which means more carbs! Plus fat-free tastes like CRAP!
I am MUCH healthier now that I cut the carbs to a minimum and went to meat. Trim as a beanpole.
Fat equals flavor.
I hate Butter ,it smells like Baby Puke

Salt was another one. Secondhand smoke. Pretty little lies paid for with the real evil ingredient - TAX MONEY!
My grandparents ate eggs and bacon or ham every morning except Sunday, when they’d have steak and eggs. They only lived into their 90s. The secret, of course, was that they worked outdoors until their late 80s.
Those who sit all day probably can eat anything, because they will have a short life anyway.
I’ve been using Smart Balance spread since my heart attack. I can’t distinguish the flavor from real butter.
When I get rid of carbs I lose weight. Put carbs back in, balloon!
Only the lazy and the ignorant allow themselves to waddle around with a big belly or a toilet-busting butt. Learn how to take care of yourself!!

My wife has bought real butter for years.. Not only does it taste better, it is actually good for you.

With the exception of the now accepted marijuanna. Notice how no one says a word about smoke, second hand smoke, or the other unhealthy effects of smoking pot? Tobacco/ bad, dope = good. What an upside world we live in!
That fake, processed trans fat stuff (vegetable oil, canola (or "rapeseed") oil, margarine, etc.) that was supposed to be better for you is the worst thing you can eat. Then throw a ton of sugar on top of it and see what you get.
The danger is not fat... it's metabolic disorders brought on by all this processed crap in our diets.
Once I dumped margarine and went back to butter I lost nearly 50 lbs.

By the way, ever seen anyone use a bong to take a power hit off of tobacco? Didn’t think so.....
