Why design something you know nothing about how to make it work?

I like space quite a lot. But I have to say:

We have no space program.
We have no shuttle.
We have no space station.
We can’t go to the moon.

If we were to dream, then dreaming of going to the moon and harvesting resources and (perhaps) building colonies might be somewhat reasonable.

Dreaming about warp drives and interstellar travel?
Ain’t nobody got time for dat.

We’ll never build anything remotely like it as long as this country is run by Democrats. Third world countries don’t make it to space in any big way.

Does it reach out to make friends with the Moslems? That’s NASAs most important job.

” NASA engineer and physicist Harold White announced a few years ago that he was working on a potentially groundbreaking idea that could allow space travel faster than the speed of light. “

Is he going to Invent Warp drive or “Invent” warp drive by releasing what we already know?????

“We wanted to have a decent image of a theory conforming Warp ship to motivate young people to pursue a STEM career,”

Well, that’s a loftier goal than Muslim outreach.

I can see X10 doing this; NASA, not so much. They still have way too much muslim pandering to do.

Makes me think of “The Man of La Mancha”. To reach the unreachable stars.

It’s a beautiful rendering. Very professional and realistic. That’s about as close to reality as it’ll ever get, though, sad to say.

Light speed? So we are expected to believe that technology has instantly advanced the point where we can extend the human speed record from 25,000 mph to 671,000,000 mph? I think not.

Nice pictures, but it ain’t gonna happen.

We can’t build anything in this country.

I would love to believe this will have happen.

We cannot get a guy into space. What is being built are copies of what we did in the 1950’s and 1960’s. Nothing groundbreaking or inspiring.

It is 2014, not 1950.
