If she turns out to be European watch the sparks fly. If they’ll even admit it.

Skeleton of 2,000-year-old woman What sort of idiot wrote this headline?
"2,000 year old Skeleton of Woman Unearthed" is the way it should read.
(Miss Poe, my 9th grade English teacher would have a conniption-fit reading the original headline!)

Was she the wife of the 2,000-year-old man? Or, perhaps, is the article poorly titled, and instead, it talks about a 2,000-year-old skeleton, of a woman?

I worked in that area 1960-2000 with road crews on many projects. We uncovered a lot of things, mostly old cars.
As that particular area was within spitting distance of the golf course where Caddyshack was filmed. could this have been one of Ted Knight’s “Friends”?
He always liked older women.
By the way, has anyone seen Betty White lately?

“2,000-year-old woman”
I didn’t know she died. I could have sworn I saw her driving a 1982 Toyota on the turnpike last week...had to be doing at least 20 or 21 MPH.

The woman, about 5 feet tall and about 20 to 30 years old, will now be analyzed by state and local archaeological authorities and then reburied in about a month in a secret location, with Seminole and Miccosukee Indians conducting the ceremony.
Any human remains should always be treated with dignity and respect. I hope, however, they can extract as much information as possible before she is re-interred. As for having Seminole (Seminoles were HISTORICALLY from out of state,) and Miccosukee Indians (she died 2000 years ago, for god’s sake - the chances the Miccosukees were descendants of hers is one in a million) is really absurd.
I can see current tribes wanting jurisdiction over historical burials, but this crap about connections to people who died a thousand years ago are simply absurd. The time frames are just too large.
Its another example of why people who believe in political correctness should be institutionalized for the safety of society.
