Isn't that plane that Obama flies on AIR FORCE ONE? It's not Democrat One. Therefore, all retired Veterans are eligible to fly on it on a Space Available basis. How many seats do they have on that baby? Throw all the news people out. They aren't Veterans. They can charter a jet. That will help the economy anyway. And how in the world does Obama and his family use our planes for free for their vacations? Even a general or admiral can't book a military transport "for a vacation". If we are all going to have to sacrifice, like the retired Veterans COLA, then Obama can have a few of us old Veterans ride with him. It's our plane and our benefit, too. He's got the big bucks now. He can pay for that jet for vacations. He can't cover it out of his pay? That's OK. He can get those retirement checks with "No Pay Due" on them for the rest of his life. He wants to be all egalitarian, then so be it. CBS News reported that Obama is Commander In Chief, so he gets military healthcare. OK. Him and all the Congress can go to the military or VA hospital in their home state for treatment. It's only fair.
I'd stock up.

Once upon a time presidents would follow the rules by scheduling a visit/inspection of a military base or government office in the location where the vacation would take place, and do that on the way.
That let them use AF1 on the way, and the vacation would officially start after the end of the vacation. Don’t know if the current administration does that or not.
I went down to our local EPA office and told them that I was a secret agent with the CIA and that they should give me $50,000 for a vacation. She asked me if I wanted it in hundreds or if a check would be OK. Fake pig farmers and fake secret agents all getting the taxpayers hard-earned dollars. It’s a smorgasbord of Democrat thievery.
OK, but is Mrs. Obama the Second In Command of the military then? A visit isn’t an inspection. The first inspection I stood, the Captain flipped a silver dollar on my bunk. It didn’t bounce high enough. He tipped over my bunk and my wall locker and told me I was descended from dogs. Mrs. Obama can be stern, but I don’t think she’d do that to anyone.
Normally I left such foolishness to my Sgts.
I had other things to do.
