A group of 10 black youths — one of them a 12-year-old girl — surrounded a white couple's car in Brooklyn, viciously beating the husband and yanking the wife to the pavement by her hair as they peppered the two with racial slurs, authorities said.
“Get those crackers!” some of them screamed, according to court papers. “Get that white whore!”

We must understand their rage. We need to examine the root causes that turns these youths into violent miscreants. Clearly, they don’t have enough food stamps, welfare or midnight basketball. < /liberal idiocy >

Unfortunately, there are times when you’re locked in and can’t move on a street from the traffic. This is why it should be legal to carry in New York, including large amounts of rounds. Most New Yorkers that lived through the pre-Giuliani years know the no-go areas, but things have been relatively safe there for a while and there are always newcomers.
Point understood, and I agree re carrying.
1. Never get out of the car.
2. Lock the doors.
3. Downshift to first.
4. Hit the gas.
ADD 5. Reverse to discourage pursuers.
ADD 6. Repeat as needed.
