It is cool and fall weather here in Los Angeles. We will go back to standard time next week ( I believe) but for now it seems like I get up in pitch dark.

china buffet in order to delay the paperwork

Must start again NOW..and quit procrastinating
on the job I loathe.

I think we are going to be Halloween party poopers and turn off the lights and pretend we aren't home. I used to love Halloween when our son was little but now I really hate hearing the doorbell ringing constantly and the dogs barking hysterically. So, we are going to hide inside until all the little hobgoblins go home.

Thanks for the birthday wishes for JK. I will pass them on to him.

Now I must leave to get blood drawn by the vampire at the doctor's office. I'll be back later this afternoon.

I use a water shredder.

If I have some paperwork I want to destroy irretrievably, I run it under the tap in the kitchen, wad it up and moosh it until it’s nothing more than paper pulp, and no one could ever unwad it nor see anything written on it, and I toss it in the trash.

Works like a charm, doesn’t waste electricity, and the “shredded” paper can never be “reassembled,” so no compromising your information.

Our time changes, too, Polly. Don’t like these time changes. Here in Tennessee, it will be dark before 6 in the evening. Makes the nights before bed long for me!

I prefer it getting dark early. I am a “ early to bed, early to rise” person. Most of the time I’m having my morning coffee by 4:30...
...BUT if you are one that stays up later... it does make for a very LONG night...
