Washington high school senior Brittany Minder was hoping for a memorable prom night, and that's exactly what she got ... just not for the reasons she anticipated. School officials at the dance told Minder that she had one choice: she could either cover up her cleavage, or go home, telling her that her dress was in violation of their dress code.
The code allows for strapless dresses, but cleavage and midriffs must be covered. Minder argues that she was unfairly targeted because of her size and that she's limited as to what she can do to 'cover up.'
"I feel that it's because I am bigger chested, and there is more cleavage that you can see, and I don't know what I can do about that," she told a local reporter. "I felt self-conscious, and it took the magic out of the night."

For crying out loud, that was a modest dress compared to many. Let the girl have her evening. She felt pretty and it was really not that bad. Instead someone made a national case out of it.
Dad not only approved of that dress, he apparently drove her to Canada to buy it. Amazing.
Get a tarp, sweetie.
I’m sorry; but that dress does not fit that girl. When she has so much “stuff” hanging out around her underarm, that is just an ill fitting dress. It is also too low-cut for prom. Where is her mother? Did she buy this dress for her daughter?
Hussy?
Did I fall asleep and we are back in 1940?
Non-story.
Ooooh. A girl with a low cut dress at a prom. Shocking.
I have a feeling that some of you who are calling her fat are not personal trainers or trips to Hollywood.
Back in the day, spaghetti strap dresses were the rage. So was dancing the twist. The combination made for some real interesting wardrobe malfunctions.
I guess I missed that part, I read the story yesterday and there was no mention of the "Dad" part.
I just watched the video at the link and it said "parents".
Amazing is correct ;(
It's pretty obvious that the dress is designed to accentuate the cleavage by pushing the breasts together. It looks like the dress is a good size or two too small to begin with, as well.
I vote guilty. Just sayin’.
LOL! No, just a little motherly advice!
Good luck with this thread. It was posted yesterday.
The mods pulled it.
Could somebody ask the linebacker in the purple hair to move over so we can see the gal the story is about.
Where’s Dad?
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Not sure about this article. The one from yestrday had Dad defending this purple blimp with boobs.
Would have been in my day, and that was in '79.
The girl I took was classy, dignified and very much a lady.
I don't know about the last 40 decades but these days I feel like I'm Mars....or is it Venus?
LOL!
They sell little bolero type cardis that cover the shoulders and cleavage area that are quite stylish. And a shawl is always good for covering and possible chills from the weather or air conditioning.
This girl’s mother should have insisted that she bring one with her - just in case.
Missed it, though I did see the story elsewhere.
Thanks ;)
My thought exactly. On this same thread yesterday I said she wasn’t endowed she is fat.
