Can’t leave AITF and Mash off. They were supremely well written off.

M*A*S*H was a horribly written, anti-American, anti-military series that I couldn’t stand.
There weren’t any patriotic American officers who weren’t cast as morons, nor were there any commie Korean military who weren’t slobbered all over sympathetically.
All U.S. military cowards were shown as heroes and any tough military-minded soldiers were shown as aggressive and nasty.
The cross dressing soldier, Klinger, was cast as a comic rather than someone who should have been drummed out of the service immediately.
Sorry, but I couldn’t stand watching this series after even a half-year.

I loved the X-Files but......
Fringe was a far better show with superior writing and acting.

The Prisoner is WAY too low.
“Seinfeld” #2? Hah! — that is the biggest laugh I ever got from that show. I watched it and, other than his stand-up bit at the start, never cracked a smile much less laughed.
Quite a few of those shows I have never watched and, in the case of “Sopranos,” “Sex and the City” and “Dexter” and some others, never will. There are also a number of shows I have never heard of.
Other than that, I agree with a lot of the list: at least the shows I expected do show up. I am sure we all will come up with missing entries (people always do with “top anything” lists.

Someone forgot “Wild Wild West”. That certainly belongs on the list, better than many that are on it.

And if you look at this Top 10 list, even shows on that list went through periods of greatness and periods of mediocrity. MASH was good for a while, even though it had a liberal slant, but then turned into an insufferable, weekly sermon by Alan Alda for its last couple of years. Even All in the Family became medicore for its last couple of seasons. The Sopranos was good for a while but then really went off the rails in its last season and a half (especially the gay theme — that was dreadful). The only one on the Top 10 List that, in my opinion, didn’t go down hill was The Wire and that’s because it had a limited run.

We loved POI to begin with. But lately the body count has gotten so high it is like watching a Stallone/Schwarzenegger film. It has become unwatchable.
