It took Kimberly Vlaminck three long years and nine painful laser treatments to finally look like herself again - her face no longer etched with 56 tattooed stars.
Vlaminck, a 22-year-old from Belgium, made headlines around the world in 2009 after she emerged from a tattoo parlor with an entire constellation inked on the left side of her face.
Initially, then-19-year-old Vlaminck lied to her parents and the media, claiming that she asked a local tattooist for only three stars near her eyes, but he kept adding more and more after she dozed off under the needle.

You go in and get a tattoo from this guy, and you are asking for it.

And after a dozen or so years, the effects of the laser on her skin will have the left side of her face erupting with blotches.

I won’t paint with a broad brush for all fans of the art of Tattoo, but certainly some of these people are freaks who clearly hate themselves and want to make the rest of the world share in their own personal self-disgust. The huge piercings? The gauges? The face tats? These are sick people.

That guy has “issues” and lots of them.

Missionaries make Christians cover up their tattoos in many lands because a tattoo is perceived as paying homage to a demon god.

Luckily for her, darker colours are most easily removed.
In my personal opinion, anyone willfully choosing to make a permanent mark or feature on their bodies has mental issues, not least of which is a lowered sense of respect for their own body and self.

I wonder where he is now and what he does to feed, clothe and house himself.

Looks like she needs one or two more sessions. You can still see traces along her jaw line, and from a couple on her cheek.
Can’t tell if she’s had a nose job - I don’t see the hook any more, but if she got a nose job, she should have had a bit more taken off.

I’m happy for her.
There’s a very pretty girl underneath all that crap.

But since I was never in the Military, I have never been tempted to do that.
