Hi there. Get well prayers, Dolly.
Yes, Jack 2 has been here a week now.
He is a good boy. Had my first Wisconsin ride on him on Friday. Rode twice in Colorado. He is a Steady Eddie just like I wanted.
Wayzata Johnn, Aloha my friend. I’ve Known you under at least three names now LOL. Always good to see your still kickin
Wow, just watched Carrie Underwood sing How Great Thou Art.
Thanks for blessing me with the link to that version of the song. It was wonderful. And you owe me a box of Kleenex. Hee Hee.
PS- I was gonna send the link to that song to my pastor, since he chose that hymn for today,,,but the amount of Wynonna Judds cleavage showing in the video of the audience, was just too much. LOL. Way too much. Girl needs to look in a mirror before she goes out of the house!LOL.
Well, there are some other versions of Carrie Underwood singing “How Great Thou Art”, and I’ll check them out. (I will also check out Wynona Judd - funny - I never even noticed that in the video.)
I forwarded that link to my sister in law and she loved it!
I figured she had seen it already but she had not.
Have a good night, I’m done for the day.
Good night, Mary Ellen.
Good night, John Boy.
Good night, Elizabeth.

On cold days, our old dog moves around the yard, finding a sunny spot to stretch out on the grass to keep herself in the warmth of the sun.
This reminds me that we must keep ourselves in the love of God (Jude 1:21). That doesnt mean we have to act in some special way to make God love us (although our desire is to please Him). Because we are His children were loved no matter what we do or fail to do. It means instead that we should think about His love and bask in its radiance and warmth all day long.
[Nothing] shall be able to separate us from the love of God (Rom. 8:39). He loved us before we were born, and He loves us now. This is our identity in Christ; it is who we areGods beloved children. Thats something to think about throughout the day.
Five times in Johns gospel he described himself as the disciple Jesus loved (13:23; 19:26; 20:2; 21:7,20). Jesus loved His other disciples too, but John reveled in the fact that Jesus loved him! We can adopt Johns themeI am the disciple Jesus loves!and repeat it to ourselves all day long. Or we can sing that familiar childrens song in our hearts, Jesus loves me, this I know. As we carry that truth with us throughout the day, well bask in the warmth of His love!
Read: Romans 8:31-39
“Jesus Loves Me”...all we need to know! God bless you, Rus! :)
Thanks!

“I am the disciple Jesus loves ...” This is so mind boggling, at times it is difficult to realize the truth of it. We know we are sinners in various ways and we do not feel worthy. We hope our faith is acceptable, we repent of our pride, selfishness, envy and greed, to name a few of our daily sins. How much time do we spend with Jesus? The Father? the Holy Spirit? In prayer.
Lord forgive our offenses, help us to turn and repent, and find mercy before Thee and help us to be obedient to thy commands. We love thee LORD! Have mercy and forgive our transgressions, in Jesus name. Amen.
One of NASAs observatories has discovered a giant black hole that hums. Located in the Perseus cluster of galaxies about 250 million light years from Earth, the black hole vibrates at the frequency of a B flat. But it is too low a pitch to be picked up by the human ear. Scientific instruments have placed the note at 57 octaves below middle C on a piano.
The idea of music and heavenly bodies is not new. In fact, when God revealed Himself to Job, He asked: Where were you when I laid the foundations of the earth? . . . When the morning stars sang together, and all the sons of God shouted for joy? (Job 38:4,7). We are told that at the creation of our marvelous universe, songs of praise and shouts of joy resounded to Gods glory.
A wonderful hymn by St. Francis of Assisi captures the awe and worship we feel when beholding the radiant sun by day or the star-studded sky at night.
Lift up your voice and with us sing Alleluia, Alleluia!
Thou burning sun with golden beam,
Thou silver moon with softer gleam:
O praise Him, O praise Him!
Alleluia! Alleluia! Alleluia!
The heavens declare the glory of God; and the firmament shows His handiwork (Ps. 19:1).
Lets praise the One who made such beauty for us to enjoy!
Read: Job 38:1-7
Hello everyone, I’ve checked the computer a couple of times today and saw no one posting. Hope everything is well with everyone. I haven’t done much but fool around. I have to run out and I’ll probably pick up some food while I’m out.
Hope all is well with everyone. Have a lovely day if you can!
((((HUGS))))
Thank you for your faithfulness delivering our Daily Bread each day, Mr. Mayor, and have a wonderful day today!
