A Blessed LORD’S Day to all at Amy’s Place.
Spent a good part of yesterday watching the news of the plane crash at San Francisco (SFO).
Usually in the evenings I can sit in the backyard and watch the airplanes making their approach to SFO and Oakland airports. We live about 100 miles east of SFO. Normally there are several planes flying overhead but last night I only saw one plane.
Flights were re-routed to Oakland, San Jose, and Sacramento airports. Lots of flights were cancelled after the plane crash.
Prayers offered up for those injured and the deaths of the passengers and crew.
If only we all lived so optimistically. What a wonderful world it would be!
I watched the news of the plane crash all afternoon.
Amen to your prayers for the 2 dead teenagers and those who mourn..and for the many injured passengers.
Thank you for your blessings. So good to “see”you!
Thank all of you for your lovely posts and words today. You all know how to cheer one up and I thank you!
Gotta run to the store for a couple of items (Dollar General)....I love those stores. One good thing too, they carry my brand of milk and bread, plus a million other things. Its fun to just slowly browse through and not be in a hurry. I always see something in there to buy.....LOL! I use one of their buggies to lean on and it keeps my back from hurting.
Wishing you all a good day when we lay our worries down. Greg wanted me to go out to eat with them but I had the stomach ache and was afraid to go. Tummy is better now but its been a while since the invite. They are so kind to me...thank you, Lord, for the wonderful sons you gave me.
I had to write some checks yesterday and here comes Gwen, my DIL, and said she ran by to see if I needed any help. She’s a sweetie.
Have a beautiful Sunday friends and I’ll talk to you later.
I, too, watched the news unfold, as I heard of the crash on tv within moments after it happened.
My heart goes out to the one hundred eighty-two people that were transported to hospitals, including 49 in serious condition and six in critical condition.
Prayers for the families and loved ones of the two young girls who lost their lives in the crash.
Thank you, Luvvy.....make yours a great one as you must be having a day off?! Enjoy!
Very cute, yorkie. Simplistic yet meaningful!
Thanks, M. Blessings are much needed at this point in time! Like most here, I appreciate each and every one of them!
Sitting outside after dark, I sometimes see as many as 15 planes headed in different directions. Last night was very eerie as I didn't see but one and it was headed north.
My prayers are with all the passengers and families as well as the pilots. What they must be going through I can't begin to imagine!

I miss him, too. Did he say he was leaving the sight or just stopped posting? None of us would know if he was sick or dead or anything. I always wondered why he wasn’t posting anymore. I hope all is well with him.
(((HUGS)))
I don’t think he ever said - the last post I remember, was when he said he was going to have a nice breakfast for us - but he never came back, to my knowledge. I too, hope all is well with him.
I miss so many that used to post frequently. I think the situation with our country, our Constitution, our Congress, the election results and the current administration have discouraged the lives of many of our old FRiends.
Pretty postcard, Yorkie!
Had a nice Sunday, hope you did too!
