She looks fine although her arteries must be a starchy mess.

Maybe she should move to Idaho, or eastern Oregon. I bet she would fall in love with that giant potato on the semi trailer that drives around out here.

I have friends who have a child who will only eat chicken nuggets and tater tots. Why? Because he throws a fit everytime they put something in front of him that isn’t chicken nuggets and tater tots, so they rush to make him chicken nuggets and tater tots to make him calm down.

I have, as lovingly as possible, told them that if he missed a couple of meals, and had to sit at the table until everyone else finished, that he would be eating other foods by the end of the week. They think it is cruel to let a 3 year old miss a meal. I think it’s cruel that in 20 years I will be reading about a 23 year old man who can only eat chicken nuggets and tater tots.

Potatoes. One of the few things I can still eat. I feel her pain.

I wonder if she ever considered seeing a psychiatrist instead of the Daily Mail?

Sounds like a neurotic female to me.

A rarity to be sure, but I understand they have been known to exist.

Proof she was a potato bug in her previous life and her diet preference wasn’t reset when she was reincarnated. j/k

She must have malnutrition deficiencies. Maybe the coleslaw is enough to prevent scurvy?

I’m a barmaid!
I have a tattoo!
Look! I’m in the paper!

I wonder if the bit about the potatoes is real?

Yes, indeed, the lowly potatoe is good for something! (What it has to do with Frederic Chopin, I dunno!)

She looks healthy enough though I believe this is a result of parents being too accomodating rather than anything else. I was picky as a child. Didn’t like my food touching, crust on my bread, didn’t like green beans/peas/green peppers, didn’t like mashed potatos, didn’t like butter. Growing up cured me of most of my pickiness even though my Mom accomodated me far more than I’d ever accomodate my own children. I may be wrong but I believe this is an example of what has ruined a large segment of our youth in the western world. They not only are coddled but grow up not just expecting it but demanding it and now rather than being embarassed that she eats like a toddler she is getting celebrity for it. See if I were the parent. I’d have let her go a few meals without anything to eat and it wouldn’t be long before she’d have found something she could keep down. :-)

If she would mix a few raisins in that coleslaw she would feel much better.

Or perhaps a vitamin powder?
