A black cardinal from Ghana would be the worst nightmare for Leftist Regressive Catholics (who want to go back to the days of Roman and Canaanite Paganism) and Muslims. African priests, whether Catholic or Episcopal, are FAR more Conservative than their European and American counterparts.

Your post reminds me of a homily given by a local african priest a few years ago right before Christmas.
He was describing how poor and humble his Christmas celebrations were in Africa as a child.
He went off on a tangent and said (paraphrasing)- they celebrated Christmas - not Kwanza. “What is this Kwanza?” He had to come to America to learn about this so-called “African” holiday
