I have done several searches, looked at several news sites. I can't find any news about where the president is today. On Drudge, I'm reading that DC has terrible problems after the storms. Where is the president? Does anyone remember how Bush was blamed after Katrina? Is Obama anywhere bringing comfort to the Beltway?
Here in Laurel MD our lights came on at 1:40 AM this morning. I figured that Obama must have led the mission to turn power back on, an it was a gutsy call.
Be grateful the dumb bass isn’t there. He could screw up a 1-car funeral.
Actually we expats celebrate it down here.
No doubt he and the other red diaper baby Axelrod and their Marxist buddies are spending Independence Day week trying to figure out how to kill off American freedom once and for all and impose total collectivist government control.
Heck, maybe John Roberts is joining them this time!
It does seem odd for him to be there, without some foreign visitors. He was just there with the G-8 or something.
And I bet most of Oz celebrates it too. It’s a good winter tradition to have.
Where did you see that?
This says he’s got a rigorous day of photo ops at the White House with soldiers on July 4.
I read Obomba will be at the White House on July 4th hosting a barbecue for military folks...
He could stay, as you say, as ceremonial support. You cannot make me believe in a million years that the White House has no back up system.
I don’t care if you love W..or hate W...he was awesome during 9/11.
Think about we have today...it would have a total beat down and disaster.
Have you ever considered relocating to Texas??
Colorado a few days ago. Camp David for the weekend. France or somewhere over there next week. It’s nice to be king.
Yep, me mates take me to the local pub (see my profile page) and shout me drinks.
I read it some where here on FR..
Choomin’ and chillaxin’... Uh!
Doesn’t he go to PARIS on July 4th for a FUNDRAISER??? I thought raising money outside the country was ILLEGAL.....oh never mind!
I desire mountains. If my job allows Texas and let’s me pick the area I would go. Right now NC is looking pretty good.
On the upside, from your tag-line I see you are a storm chaser and storm chasing is a blast here. I used to ride along with a couple of ole storm chasers. Very fun, but there were a couple of hairy moments. When they retired..the young ‘uns weren't interested in letting an “outsider” like me go with them.
NC is pretty, needs can-do folks like we do...and they do have some good storms.
