I remember Carl primarily for his strong nuclear freeze and anti-StarWars putzivity.

I bought his book “Cosmos” (the print companion to the PBS series of the same title) back in the eighties and still have it.

I know he was a bleeding heart liberal academic but he was good at making hard science interesting to the layman.

I realized that and I watched his series, Cosmos, when it came out, and enjoyed it very much.

But he was deeply and severely flawed. If he were around today he would be working tirelessly to Hide The Decline.

That looks like something from Bryce 4D, an incredible app that i toyed with as a landscape designer in a past life. Adobe snatched that up so fast it made your head spin.

Two planets discovered that orbit within 1.2 million miles of each other.

That’s a beauty!

I was so plagued by 503’s yesterday and it was messing up my FR Universe.

Norvell does great work, but I’m a Ryan Bliss (DigitalBlasphemy.com) fan.

The stars were out with a vengeance. They had switchblades and chains and vowed to get even with that wormhole.
