I just got off the telephone with a newly promoted Army Lieutenant Colonel FRiend of ours, and wanted to share his good news.
WarriorNurse, a former enlisted Marine, a former Navy nurse, now serving his country as an Army nurse, has been promoted to Lieutenant Colonel!
Many of you will remember WarriorNurse FRom various CPACs and the Clinton years' White House and other FReeps in the DC area and in Jacksonville.
Congratulations LTC WarriorNurse!

Good news, great accomplishment. Especially as a male in one of the fields traditionally overwhelmingly dominated by females, where it’s tough (sorry, folks, it’s just the truth) to make it to O-5 if you’re a male.
