04/17/2012 Constitution Party National Convention to Meet in Nashville
Amidst Unprecedented Voter Dissatisfaction with Obama and Romney
Constitution Party National Chairman, Jim Clymer, announced the 2012 National Convention of the Constitution Party which will be held April 18-21 in Nashville, Tennessee.
American voters who support limited, constitutional government, traditional American values, the protection of American jobs and preservation of individual liberty can take heart! They will not be limited to a difficult choice between Obama and Romney as the one likely to be the least threat to their life, liberty, property and other interests. The Constitution Party will be offering the Constitutional option in 2012, said Clymer.
The venue for the Constitution Party National Convention will be the beautiful Sheraton Music City Hotel in Nashville, TN. The public is invited to attend but registration is required and anyone wishing to do so should contact the Constitution Party national office at 717-390-1993 for further information. Registered guests will be admitted to all sessions and events, including the gala Saturday night banquet to be held after the conclusion of the Convention, but only delegates who are selected by the respective state party affiliate organizations will be allowed to vote.
Among those seeking the Constitution Party Presidential Nomination is former Congressman Virgil Goode. Goode, who represented Virginias 5th District from 1997 2009, was a member of the Liberty Caucus, chaired by Ron Paul. Known in the House of Representatives for his outspoken opposition to illegal immigration, his support for trade policies that protect the interests of American workers, for limited government and for cuts in spending along with a balanced budget, Goode joined the Constitution Party in May of 2009 and is now a member of its National Executive Committee.
Other candidates seeking the Constitution Party Presidential nomination include Robby Carr Wells of North Carolina, a former NCAA Division 1 football coach at Savannah State University, Laurie Roth, of Washington, a talk show host and columnist and Susan Ducey, a constitutional activist from Kansas.
The general session of the convention, which will include adoption of the 2012 Constitution Party National Platform and the selection of the partys presidential and vice-presidential nominees, is set for Friday April
20 and Saturday April 21, with the presidential nominees acceptance speech scheduled for 1:30PM Saturday, April 21.
To the millions of American voters--be they traditional Democrats who once believed that their party spoke for Americas working people, honest, representative government and freedom or Republicans who used to believe that their party represented limited government, fiscal responsibility and individual libertywho feel abandoned by their own political parties, I issue an invitation to find out about a new path for America-the Constitution Party (www.constitutionparty.com) and to join the campaign to Save America by supporting the Constitution Party Presidential ticket in 2012, concluded Clymer.

I was reading their charter the other day and they seem to be on the same page as Ru Paul on foreign affairs and most other issues.
America’s Party already had theirs. The Libertarians are having theirs soon. It’s third-party convention season.
Read their Defense platform and you’ll see the difference.
As did our founding fathers, they do not believe in foreign entanglements. At the same time, they believe in fielding the world’s best military.
Yep, that is the GOP at its worst, sad to say and impossible to deny.
However of the two (2) viable political parties, the GOP is the only party that SOMETIMES effectively advances real-world, pro-Constitution, pro-liberty, pro-responsibility in short, pro-American ideas.
Which also answers the spam-commenter.
Senate Bill S510 Makes it illegal to Grow. Share. Trade or Sell Homegrown Food.
Imagine that. You and your entire family could be dragged away to FEMA Camps against your will. Imprisoned without trial. For merely growing your own vegetables. Or executed under Executive Order by NATO or UN Troops or thugs wearing black uniforms with esoteric military patches on them. All based on illegal and Unconstitutional executive orders from the usurper in charge.
Insanity Prevails Today !
To be sure, not all believers agree on the subject of Israel. Christians are divided between pre-millennialism, post-millennialism, and even amillennialism. For the most part, pre-millennialists (such as me) believe that God will yet fulfill the Davidic Covenant with the nation of Israel. Post-millennialists, on the other hand, believe that the Church, which is the Body of Christ, is the complete fulfillment of God's promises to Abraham and David.
As a pre-millenialist, Baldwin had a positive view of Israel. He simply didn't believe in foreign entanglements.
First, I am pleasantly surprised. One would not know from Baldwin's passive acceptance of the Constitution Party's anti-Israel foreign policy position that he was pro-Israel.
However, the party still has an anti-Israel foreign policy, and there are other problems as well. From the Baldwin quote above, he seems to assume that every potential CP voter is a chr*stian. Though not a liberal (and probably to the right of Baldwin, since I'm a Theocrat), I am not a chr*stian. I certainly have no objections to voting for a devout chr*stian, but the ideology of the CP seems to be that the United States is corporately a "chr*stian nation." I have no problem acknowledging that the US is historically a chr*stian nation so far as population and culture is concerned, but The CP, like the JBS, seems to believe (however "unofficially") that the United States has taken over from Israel as the "chosen nation": that the US is a special, unique, chosen nation founded by chr*stians (like Thomas Jefferson, the bible mangler?). This is both Anglo-Israelism and henotheism, two ideologies to which I am adamantly opposed.
Please understand that I am not one of those people who thinks that the First Amendment forbids the states from having official religions of their own. But any "gxd" worshiped by people who believe that the United States is now "the chosen people" is a false "gxd" and not the True G-d.
I could vote for such a person if he didn't represent a party that held this as a quasi-official belief, but that isn't so with the CP.
Most importantly, the CP has no chance and will accomplish absolutely nothing other than splitting off conservative votes. I realize that the current Republican party has rejected conservatives and that we have to do something. However, voting for the candidate of an anti-Israel party that has no chance of winning an election in such a crucial year strikes me as not the thing we need to do.
At any rate, thank you for the information.
No, actually the GOP, with its craven unwillingness to challenge the Left head-on, is giving it to them. The conservative departure from the GOP is a result.
I have word-searched their entire platform and the word “Israel” does not appear anyplace.
Hands down, the Constitution Party’s principles are better than what you just posted about Obama.
And they’re better than pro-abortion, anti-gun, pro-gay, pro-big government Romney.
But...getting some FReepers to see that is an uphill struggle.
I’m also a Newt fan, so more power to him until the fat lady sings. Unlike others, I have actually send Newt money.

I’ve been looking for a reason for several years to chunk the GOP and join the USCP. If Romney loses in November, I may do it. I might join it anyway.

[Besides LETS ROCK THE SYSTEM! SEND A MESSAGE!]
ROFLMAO! Right, all TWO of you! LOL! LOL!
Ah, I was wondering when you’d check in and give your piece. Feel better now?
Now what was it you were so heavily immersed in again? Oh, that's right; Complete, insignificant obscurity, with overtones of pointless grandiosity.
Please keep us up to date on this choice.
I believe that if you don’t vote for the person most in agreement with your views your views will never be known. You will have wasted your vote and you will continue to be dumped on.
Losing isn’t the worse thing when voting, abandoning your principles is and giving a false mandate to the victor.
You're right...So don't splinter the electorate...Vote Constitution Party...
Or are you determined to vote for the GOP elitist regardless of what he stands for???
