(Washington, D.C. - 3-5-12) The Navy has vehemently denied rumors they're considering naming a future vessel the USS Sandra Fluke.
This is simply a rumor and the Navy at this time has no plans, unless compelled by Congress, to name a vessel after this young lady.
A senior Democratic Senator, however, has a different take. He spoke anonymously:
While at this time naming a ship the USS Sandra Fluke isn't being considered, it's certainly worth discussion. We value true heroes in America and have named vessels after other American icons who have stood up for truth and justice such as Jimmy Carter, Eldridge Cleaver and Cesar Chavez.
By standing up to the far-right who is attempting to label this loose young lady a slut, who is simply demanding her constitutional right to contraception, we find her courage, tenacity and tough spirited attitude worthy of consideration for a future vessel, probably sometime in 2015. The USSPV (United States Ship Pleasure Vessel) Sandra Fluke has a nice ring to it.
I'll be convening a committee to discuss the subject.
Developing...
I heard it was going to be a Barracks ship. lol
Some competition... :)
But I say you are still the semi-satire champ!
It’ll be a leaky submarine full of seamen.
Yup, because that would denote a vessel going down too easy...
ba-da-dum---tst!
lol.
Wait, doesn’t the rubber outer layer at least keep it quiet?
They did offer her a commission.
What do Wilt Chamberlain’s member and a submarine have in common?
Miss Fluke, however, is seriously considering the Navy...one Fleet Week at a time.
Neither have had Fluke in their berth?
It’ll have to be a submarine because so many guys go down on her...
America has lost its ever loving mind. Totally gone insane.
That would be one vessel looking for a torpedo.
USS Sandra Fluke or USS Slippery When Wet?
“... simply demanding her constitutional right to contraception...”
A constitutional right??????????????
Where is this located in the Constitution of the United States of America?????????????????????????
” - - - constitutional right to contraception - - -”
One of the great things about FR is that we learn about so many things that we did not know before!
For example, the above quote was taken from the article for this thread.
I did NOT know that our Founding Fathers wrote into the US Constitution the Right of all American women to use an Aspirin!
What good is free contraception without free room and board? Shouldn't there be a constitutional ammendment for free food and housing? /sarc>

She is not a young lady. She is a young woman. Young women are more fun.....
I’ve heard liberals say they should get money to live and party on till they’re 65, then go to work....
One said he’d live and party to 65, then shoot himself...I offered my handgun and said, “why wait?”
