My Dad the Marine (Fighting cancer-prayers)

Today is a special day for my dad Dan. He is a veteran of the Korean War. He fought in the battle at Chosin Reservoir. He has won a purple heart and bronze star. He is the most amazing man to his seven kids and wife of 58 years.

I am also fighting cancer and know the difficulties associated with it and I pray in Jesus Name that your' Dad's condition improves and that he is confirted, protected and eased through the ordeal.

I hope I can put into words to convay to each and every one of you how much my dad appreciated your messages of prayer, good wishes, sharing of your personal stories, private emails and wonderful gifts of pictures, and music. You made a hard nosed, bad-azz Marine cry like a baby. And that isn't easy to do. He will continue to fight like a Marine, and never give up. I will keep this thread link to let him read again when the going gets tough, and it will. But he has never shrunk from a fight.

Thank you all and God Bless you all. And to those of you that served and are serving in our great military, Thank You!
