WHERE and HOW will Sarah Palin declare that she is running? [Now that we finally know WHEN...]
September 12, 2011 | RonDog & FRiends

WHERE and HOW
do you think Sarah Palin will declare
that she is running for President,
now that we finally know WHEN she will do it?

Within the last week or two,
just about EVERYONE who is ANYONE in the pro-Palin community
has posted online that Governor Palin will announce that she is running for President
on "Constitution Day" --
with virtually NONE of the traditional smackdown and/or denials coming from SarahPAC,
or from any of the usual "insiders" at Team Sarah --
who have generally been VERY GOOD at rumor control.

So, if she really **is** getting into the race on Friday (or Saturday)
WHERE and HOW
do you think that she will do this?

Will she do announce, for example, though a recorded VIDEO,
as an homage to Hillary! -- and a secret signal to the PUMAs?

And, how will she honor her commitment
to let the "Bob and Mark" radio show be "the first to know" of her decision?

Will she do it from her home in ALASKA?

Or from the site of the original Tea Party in BOSTON?
Or, perhaps from PHILADELPHIA -- or even from WASHINGTON, D.C.?

What do YOU think?

Can YOU predict
what the "unpredictable" Sarah Palin will do?

And, how will she get the MAXIMUM media attention?

Please post YOUR predictions on this thread -- for posterity,
if you dare. :o)

None of the 8 candidates on stage tonight would draw voters to the polls even in their own states. Bachmann, Cain, Santorum, and Paul have no executive experience in government. Perry has crony capitalism issues as well as an immigration stance that differs with most conservatives. Gingrich has personal conduct issues. Huntsman and Romney will not get support from TEA Party members.

Palin will run and we’ll all know about it very soon.

Aw, man, you shouldn't have done that. It was probably this week's PowerBall numbers.

Well, I am really glad I didn't memorize them then because if I didn't play them and they hit, then I would really be bummed. In this case ignorance is truly bliss:)

She’ll make the announcement at my house with Todd and Piper at her side. It’ll be Friday morning at 8:52 am Pacific time with a pre-nod to the radio guys in Alaska at 8:51 to fulfill her promise that they’d know first. This gives Rush enough of a heads-up to change around his opening monologue to fit the big news.

I’ll have bagels and scrambled eggs and bacon and waffles for the people that show up to be a part of things.

Where and how? She has said when she announces yea or nay, it will be on a radio show in Alaska, I have no reason to doubt her.

Constitution Day Palin’s Announcement Day? Frank Aquila Thinks So.
Written by on September 8, 2011 · 1 Comment

In his interview with the Manteca Bulletin, author Frank Aquila predicts September 17 — Constitution Day — as the day Sarah Palin will declare her intention to run for President of the United States in 2012:

Once Palin’s staffers caught wind of the book and screened a copy, they invited Aquila out to Iowa to meet her on her coast-to-coast tour that just happens to be stopping in the key primary states where the Republican Presidential hopefuls are campaigning.

“It was awesome to get the chance to meet and talk with her. She told me that she had already signed a couple of copies of the book,” Aquila said. “That was really cool to hear. It was great to see her interacting with the crowd and the number of people that came out to see her.

“There was this moment when we were supposed to get our picture taken together but after her speech she just got mobbed backstage like a rockstar. You can tell that the people want her to run, and that she’s dedicated to putting everything out of her mind and to stay focused just to get this guy out of office.”

Aquila also had the chance to strike up a one-on-one conversation with Palin’s husband Todd, and delivered a letter to him from Pastor Mike Dillman inviting the couple out to the 2012 Memorial Day Celebration – the largest of its kind on the West Coast. Aquila said that Todd Palin seemed interested, and would forward the information along to see if it can be worked out.

Based on the knowledge he’s accumulated and what he’s learned about the news cycle, Aquila even thinks he knows when Palin will declare her candidacy – September 17 – which just happens to be Constitution Day. It’ll be far enough after September 11 to not get drowned out and not early enough in the year to compete with parents that are getting their kids ready to go back to school.

“It’s Constitution Day, so it would be very fitting for her to announce that she’s going to run for President on that day – I’d be really surprised if she didn’t announce then,” said Aquila – a self-taught political activist that champions causes that he believes in. “She’s the only one with any backbone that can go stand up to the corrupt forces in Washington D.C. and not back down.”

Visit the Manteca Bulletin to read the full interview.

Would that be at the beginning of Rush’s show? Or an hour earlier?

And WHO made “crony capitalism” a BIG issue?—undermining both Romney and Perry, I hope fatally?

“The quitter,” “the person who is afraid to get into the race,” etc., that’s who!

"Lighten up, Francis!"

How much lighter can you get than sightings in a piece of toast?

"Speculating about the potential future actions of key players in the political realm is one of the foundational principles of this forum."

All rightee then ... I must have missed that in all of my years here. It may have become a favorite hobby around here, but foundational principle?????

Well, Palin lovers (and I'm one of them, to a large degree) won't like what I'm about to type. I don't think Palin will declare her candidacy, nor do I think that if she did, that she would win the nomination.

Those are unwelcome words here in the 'Palin country' of FR, but I've been around in the GOP long enough to know more about the process of gaining the nomination, and election than 95 percent of FReepers. I've been far too close to the process, and involved in too many conventions to even think otherwise at this point.

I wish I could be more optimistic, but there is just no way, for a host of reasons, that Sarah could possibly gain the nomination. But, can we look for Sarah to support the most conservative of other candidates? At this point, and with her performance on Fox News this eve, I'm not even sure I can count on that! Sad to say.

Can YOU predict what the "unpredictable" Sarah Palin will do?

And, how will she get the MAXIMUM media attention?

She's going to announce that she's running for President as a Democrat! She's going to challenge Obama in the primaries since there is no one in the rat party with enough cojones to do it!

Heads exploding everywhere!

You sound like a concern troll to me, and definitely not a Palin lover. Tell me, what are you afraid of? If she can't win the nomination as you say, then why worry about her running? If she runs according to you she will fail to gain the nomination then the guy you want to win will get it and you have nothing to fear. IMO, you are scared sh**less that she will run and you are hoping she won't because you fear if she does she will carry the nomination.

September 17th at 9AM Alaskan time. - Beaten Valve

Would that be at the beginning of Rush’s show? Or an hour earlier? - Arthur McGowan

9 am (Alaska time) = 10 am (California time) = 1 pm (East Coast time) -- i.e.,
...at the beginning of Rush's SECOND hour, I think --
if she were to announce on FRIDAY, September 16 --
...when he, and Bob & Mark, are on the air.
From my previous "Bob and Mark" thread:

LOL - you're way off base bud...

I'm not one bit 'afraid' of Palin.. or 'worried' about her running. If she does, things will get verrrry interesting, to say the least.

And watch your language about bodily excrement... that you appear to emulate with your post. That sort of thing will get you into trouble.

See also, from the comments section at today's conservatives4palin.com thread:
“When we’re ready to announce… you won’t be able to miss the announcement.” - Sarah Palin

So what setting will fit this label? - How many can hear this live? "exposure"?

A rally? Nope, don't think so.

A post on FB? Nope, don't think so.

At a debate? Nope, MB tried that already, and SP's not gonna duplicate.

How 'bout something that will have at least a "million" folks hearing it live.

Or maybe about 2-3 million hearing live altogether at once so you 'WON'T BE ABLE TO MISS THE ANNOUNCEMENT'.

There's only one, and only one way that could happen, and that's ON the One and Only....RUSH LIMBAUGH!

From xfinitytv.comcast.net:

She did promise that if she ever announces that she’s running,
she’ll announce it first on this Anchorage morning show
apparently the "The Bob and Mark Show" on KWHL-FM, "K-Whale."

Here is ANOTHER thought-provoking comment from C4P'er "Old Media Type" on today's conservatives4palin.com thread:
Which reporter or network will break the story?

As an old news guy, I can tell you breaking a story is 95% logistics (read good planning and hard work) and 5% luck.

If I was back in the news biz, right about now I'd want to know, "Where is her bus? How is she getting around the country? Is she flying commercial or private charter? Where is she? What flight plans are being filed?

"Going Rogue" hinted at going back to Michigan.

Maybe she'll start there. What town in Michigan was she in when McCain surrendered the state? Didn't she start the Going Rogue book tour in Michigan? What town was that?

Maybe the Governor is borrowing some of Vince Lombardi winning philosophy in which he attacked his opponent's strength. Witness her going to Wisconsin and delivering that terrific "Game On" speech in front of union protestors. So, why not go the heart of the labor's power — Michigan?

Attack the opponent's strength. Michigan is an economic basket case, thanks to the union and the Democrats.

Think about this: if she could win Wisconsin and Michigan in the General Election, it won't be "game on," it will be "game over!"

...Ford Motor Company...
...and it's extraordinary (non-"crony capitalist") CEO, Alan Mulalley.
