Markings in red paint found within the Great Pyramid by a camera-toting robot are likely numerals used by builders.
THE GIST
- Hieroglyphs written in red paint on the floor of a hidden chamber in Egypt's Great Pyramid are numerical signs.
- The builders of the pyramid simply recorded the total length of the southern shaft from the Queen's Chamber: 121 cubits.
- Multiples of 7, 9 and 11 cubits occur frequently in the design of the Great pyramid.

“Lets see a cubit...I used to know what a cubit was
Well don’t worry about that Noah
When you get that done
Go out into the world and
Collect all of the animals in the world by twos
Male and female, and put them into the ark”
“RIGHT!...
Who is this really?”

Based upon what do they make this claim?
Do they just think that this is the best guess?
Or do they have a consensus of elite scientific minds who think this is the best guess?
It seems that is all they do in regards to archaeology, just make guesses and then proclaim them as being facts.
Just as their claims about how the pyramids were built, who built them and why they were built. All guesses and not based upon facts even, imo.

What does 121 cucurbits come to in Pyramid Inches?
Only Gourdon knows, but who believes an Onion (rap)Scallion, when it speaks reeks?

The Great Pyramid of Ghiza was measured in the 1880s by Flinders Petrie as having sides of length 230.25 to 230.4 m, with a mean of 230.355 m. Postulating them as being 250 cubits points to a cubit of about 461 mm and a fathom of about 1.84 m, i.e. very close to today's international nautical mile, the length of 1 minute of latitude. In turn this indicates that the Ancient Egyptians, nearly 5 000 years ago, measured Earth's radius. Read more: http://www.answers.com/main/ntquery?s=cubits&gwp=16

I don’t buy that, any more than I buy the claim that the Giza pyramids were built to mimic the position of some stars in the sky 10s of 1000s of years ago.

There are those who would claim that these marks are part of an ancient Egyptian schematic for a computer or something; for more about how the pyramids may have been built, I’ll be happy to post some links to other FR topics.

It makes more sense than connecting Giza with Cydonia, I’d say. :’)

Per Peter Thompkins, the mensuration for the Great Pyramid was the Royal Cubit. The Royal cubit is slightly longer then the ordinary cubit.
From Wiki....
The earliest attested standard measure is from the Old Kingdom pyramids of Egypt and was called the royal cubit (mahe). The royal cubit was 523 to 525 mm (20.6 to 20.64 inches) in length,[3] and was subdivided into 7 palms of 4 digits (4 fingers) each, for a 28-part measure in total. Secure evidence for the royal cubit unit is known from Old Kingdom architecture, from at least as early as the construction of the Step Pyramid of Djoser from around 2,700 B.C.[4]
