A strange aspect of the Weinergate scandal is the LACK of any info about it on the Drudge Report. This is much too juicy of a scandal for Drudge to ignore. Therefore, I am guessing that Drudge is sitting on a big scoop which will break soon. Perhaps tomorrow.
Anthony Weiner might think he can ride this out by hiding behind the advice of counsel to write it off as a prank but the Drudge scoop could put too much heat on him.
It's going to be an interesting few days ahead. Oh, and don't forget we are sure to hear the input of Rush and Laura Ingraham on this as well.
I would think Huma could also ID the grey undies if they are owned by her husband.

Especially since both are congressmen from New York districts.
Furthermore, Weiner was the first to go before the cameras in 2001 to say that the outgoing Clinton administration did not trash the White House or take the W's off of all the keyboards, and that the whole things was a Republican lie.

He’s either waiting on an investigation into the hacker excuse or he has decided it was a hacker and is ignoring it. I think it is the later.

There is another good excuse he can use. He had just come from sitting with Rachel Madcow. He could say that she borrowed his phone and took a pic of HER OWN wiener!
Because Weiner is a liberal, I know he is stupid, but I’m not sure he is THAT stupid. Maybe he is. It will soon be known.

I heard that Weiner and Drudge are friends. I don’t know if that’s actually true but if so, then he may end up posting a link or two but not playing up the story.
