In before the Helen Thomas and Mooochelle pics...

WASHINGTON (AP) — Surprised scientists have discovered the remains of a saber-toothed vegetarian. The leaf-crunching animal — about the size of a large dog — lived 260 million years ago in what is now Brazil, researchers report in Friday's edition of the journal Science. Its upper canine teeth were nearly 5 inches long.

Such large teeth are more often the mark of a meat-eating animal, used to capture and kill prey.

Indeed, the AP doesn’t know its head from a fossilized hole in the ground.

Live science said this...

“If you asked me how surprised I was about finding this fossil, I can tell you that finding a fossil so bizarre as Tiarajudens eccentricus, a fossil that looks like if it has been made from parts of different animals, is like finding a unicorn,” vertebrate paleontologist Juan Carlos Cisneros at the Federal University of Piauí in Teresina, Brazil, told LiveScience. “You see it, but you don't believe it.”

A “vertebrate paleontologist” is NOT an “archaeologist”.

Also, not sure where the above drawing came from - it is NOT from the article.

"Now the anthropologist will tell us that this tiger was also gay!" YOU SAID

They have actually found through the fossil recorded that there was gay dinosaurs. And they have actually named this species the female is lickalotapudamus and the males are dinosoreass.

My Lousiana pals say nutria aren’t too bad, tastier than coon, its all in the preperation, care, and handling of the meat...

FWIW: The ancestors of modern day Elk had tusks, this is evident in Elk having ivories... makes for nifty jewelry...
