If it hasn't happened in your stores, yet, it will. Get ready for higher food prices. Kellogg's has announced that it will raise prices due to the rising costs of commodies. Others will follow that trend.
I've noticed a significant increase in my weekly grocery bill. Spring can't come soon enough for me. I think this year my vegetable garden will be larger.
Good afternoon everybody. We are back in country, had a great time. We aren’t quite home yet, took a brief excursion to purchase some fresh fish from the Gulf, expect to be home tomorrow.
I really liked being pampered...
Lin, I think it depends on the business sector you find yourself. I have a job in the Technology sector, and we were all just given raises. I can say with all honesty that the Tech. companies are faring well. They may be laying some “surplus” employees off here and there, and going on a spending diet, but they know how to stay afloat and plan accordingly. I dare say most are not unionized too.

Yes we did....although there are some rather weird people who go on cruises too.
The one I was on was right after 9/11, so a good # had cancelled...but one day at lunch we sat with 3 guys...NY emergency responders....bless their hearts, they just wanted to be left alone....to forget....

I just noticed your call for humor up-thread. No new jokes here but we saw some excellent acts on board ship.
One was Ron Lucas a ventriloquist who put on a very entertaining show with his puppets and throwing his voice.
After him, at the late night comic show they had a commedian who was simply excellent. He worked the audience, drew his lines from people in the crowd and had us breathless and near tears with laughter. That’s real talent.
It’s also wonderfully cleansing to laugh that hard, we enjoyed it immensely.

Allie is going to pursue this field, real deep into religion studies..leaning going to Brazil, she and here daddy went there for some summer work last year.
With all this going on in Egypt I sit back and watch Israel. not saying much but they are preparing. I am really thinking that we are reaching ‘the time’. WE have had signs in the past but never like what we are having today.

Thank you so much. Kids doing a complete house cleaning in my ‘shack in the back’, needless to say that the cats (3) that the kids ‘gave’ me have gotten cat hair every where.
My birthday was a very good one, got all kind of goodies, lots of books which I love.
Sooner than later I hope to get on eh new site, just bare with me. Sil is to help.
