There was a time, maybe thirty or forty years ago, before cable TV and cell phones, where one man could be so impressive in his accomplishments and force of personality, he would almost universally be recognized as the coolest man in America. His field could range from medicine, science, sports, politics or entertainment. Since the advent of the internet, though, this is no longer possible. Who, in your opinion, was the last "coolest man in America"?

The last coolest man in America (the man most heterosexual men and boys admired and wished they could be) was only considered such for a relatively short period of time. After his gradual fall from grace. . . . Tiger Woods?
To: County Agent Hank Kimball

Go do that to his face... ;) :)

Jimi played a great guitar, but druggies can never be cool.
Ditto for John Lennon. Atheistic Commie New Agers can never be cool.

Joe Cool. Meh. Burt Reynolds was better, and Steven McQueen tops both of them.

It is and will always be ELVIS PRESLEY. He changed music forever and was not a product of Hollywood, Government Schools or the Mob.
He had a God given talent - loved his parents and his God.
This!

Today’s “stars” can’t even come close to the patriots of yesterday. Today they are a bunch of whiners and anti-American p*ssies.
