Cat urine is worse on the floor because it soaks down deep. I clean it the second I see it, which hasn’t happened (thank God) in years.

Agreed.

She is not ready for this. Maybe in a couple of years, but not now.

Wonder if having a cold affected her voice for the worse?

That’s true. Then we always get that interview where they show a ton of people saying, “You haven’t seen the last of me! You’ll see me again!”

Yeah, working at The Gap maybe, but probably not on AI.

A 15 year old girl. She drove to the audition with her learner's permit.

"I've been watching this show since I was like 5!

She sings Cyndi Lauper's "True Colors". It's okay.

The judges are on the fence.

Girl: Pleeeeeese! [tears streaming down her face] This is what my life is about!

Randy: But this is just the beginning. You've got your whole life ahead of you.

Steven says yes.

I think Jennifer says no.

Randy is the tie-breaker.

Randy: I really honestly believe you'll get swallowed up in this whole thing. (I think he's right. The girl seems way too fragile)

Drama!

She emerges from the auditions with the Golden Ticket.

J-Lo: (to Randy after the girl leaves) Your first instinct was right. She's gonna get eaten up in this competition.

I have heard Modern Family is good, but I haven’t watched it yet. I’m trying to convince Mr. Retrocat that we are the only family in America without a DVR and it would make our lives soooo much easier. So far he isn’t buying it. lol

I’ve not heard of pickle juice but here they use some sort of beet mixture to treat the roads!

Me either. That is just strange. But isn’t pickle juice mostly vinegar?

The brine costs just 7 cents a gallon compared to $63 a ton for salt. Bergen County has already used up $3 million of its $4 million snow budget.

Ok, who is the thread math genius. How many gallons in a ton? How much will they save?
