I would not want to be paraded out like that or take a loved one out like that I hope you never have to find out. Wow. They are still people. I used to take mentally challenged people out from one of the county facilities once a week, to museums, restaurants, stores, zoo, movies, whatever. It was very sad to see them greet people that would pretend to not hear them and turn away. They have no control over their lot in life. They just want to be accepted. They had talked about Space Station 3D for months afterward. The smallest things make them happy. It's a good feeling to see them smile, laugh and be happy.

The young lady looked quite thrilled to meet them and if the boyfriend thought it would be okay, then I don’t think it was exploitation.

There but for the grace of God, go I. We’re all one accident away from being in her same situation.
Its a very sobering thought how quickly your life can be changed.
