Paul Verhooven is a great director.

His original "RoboCop" should have been on there.

Lot’s of pure crap on this list, and they are missing a number of good films. Zero credibility in my mind.

Ping for later viewing at home (where my internet connection is actually faster than the one at work).

Pretty good list. I would’ve moved Blade Runner to about sixth, making ‘2001’ #1, but otherwise good.

Related, but separate - anyone watching ‘The Walking Dead’ on AMC? Really well done TV. Gory, but well done.

Forbidden Planet not even in the top 10?

It should be #3 after Star Wars a New Hope, which should be #2 and 2001 a solid #1.

Your least leans too much to the 70s and 80s and doesn’t appreciate just how important Forbidden Planet was — it took Science Fiction movies out of the B.E.M. stage into a more thoughtful interpretation of Man’s condition.

No. 20 and no. 5 should swap places. No. 10 shouldn’t even be on the list.

I don’t know if it’d be considered Sci-fi, but I’d put Signs on the list if it fit the category.

The 12 Monkeys was also a great movie.
Loved Brad Pitt’s role.
Always like Madeline Stowe.

Oh, and Ice Pirates if only for the scene where they go through a time warp if for no other reason than that. If you have not seen it go rent it and fast forward to that scene.

It was cute, but I prefer the Next Generation movies because of my crush on Captain Piccard. *sigh*
