Republicans Won't Do As Well As Everyone Believes. (Vanity)
10/30/2010 | Carbonsteel

Posted on 10/30/2010 12:43:33 PM PDT by Carbonsteel

This is my first vanity piece, so let me know if I did something wrong.

Republicans seem to think they will sweep the upcoming elections. I disagree. I tend to think any Republican candidate that does not have a MINIMUM 5 point lead on their Democratic challenger by Tuesday, will lose.

I say this because Democrats have this huge apparatus in place to facilitate voter fraud, intimidation and outright manipulation and Republicans need an average 5 points and that is a conservative estimate, (probably needs to be higher) to help overcome these deficiencies.

If you don't believe me, just look at the Coleman/Franken race if you want proof. Not only that, how do you think that a nation that is overwhelmingly right of center politically has a far left Government? How does a center right nation have so many Democrats in power that want far left policies even with the current economic status? Democratic supporters have openly stated that they have to do whatever it takes to retain power. What do folks think they mean when they say things like that?

Felons will vote, illegal’s will vote, pets will vote, the dead will vote. There will be intimidation at polling places and handouts to manipulate the naive and we have unions maintaining the voting equipment and that is just the tip of the iceburg.

I've been wrong before, probably will be again. However, never underestimate the Democratic Party. As Stalin once said: "power lies not in those who cast the votes, but in those who count the votes."

If it, definitely, helps to make sure that ALL non-leftists voters do, indeed, vote, then it will be worth it. Let’s create the best case scenario for all non-leftists, during the November 2 election, and then, let’s do all that we can do to, also, make it continue for all future elections, long-term! No more, “Oh no! The GOP blew it, again, so their majorities will only be short lived!” RINOS have got to go, too.

We’ve always had to deal with voter fraud at a certain level, but I worry that it is becoming worse and more shameless than ever. It is one of our biggest challenges. Whatever comes next week, this is a problem we have to address because as they say, it isn’t who votes, its who counts the votes. We need a way of knowing that if and when we lose, we’ve lost a clean straight-up fight. And we need to be able to show clearly that when we’ve won, we won it clean.

The problem is that it doesn’t serve the DNC to promote either. They’ll win by hook or crook and when they lose, despite every trick in the book, they will accuse the GOP of voter fraud. And the GOP has shamefully looked the other way election after election.

There ought to have been a tremendous push back when Franken stole the election in Minnesota, it was that transparent, and yet the GOP sat on their hands. When they catch illegals voting, which they have, someone should be in jail over it. But the GOP is afraid of alienating, who, exactly? so they do nothing.

Once people no longer believe in the ballot box, violence is guaranteed to follow. Its that important. We have to know that the machines are good; we have to know that the count is good. If we don’t know that the next step is civil strife from one side or the other or both.

The silent outraged voters are vastly under polled.

"Speaking of Al Franken, several people have recently been accused of criminal conduct in that election. Maybe that’ll persuade them to be a little more careful next time about risking their hides for the Party of Corruption."

If I'm not mistaken, once a candidate is seated, not much can be done to undo it. So once evidence of fraud is brought forward, its too late.

The Franken/Coleman race wasn’t within 4 or 5 percentage points. They were separated by a few hundred votes. You can also look at Gore/Bush.

>>Don’t you just love ut when a “Texan” gets his first glimpse of Santa Anna and heads for the Canadian border?<<

I see you properly put “Texan” in “quotes.” You and I and several million Texans know that the standard Texas response at the Alamo was “is that all you Mexicans bringin?”

That Democrats will try to steal elections via fraud and intimidation is as predictable as the sunrise. Post-election day, a few races that are very close will be contested in courts and some Republicans may lose to fraud, as happened with the Al Franken fiasco in Minnesota in 2008. Unfortunately, since Democrats are involved, that is almost a given. However, I expect that the majority of Republicans that win their races will do so by solid margins - enough to overcome fraud...the 5% you noted. However, I'm certain we'll see a lot of 'close ones' where the Democrat demands a recount. In a few corrupt precincts, that may generate mysterious 'new' ballots for the Democrat (a la Franken in Minnesota) and a fraudulent Democrat 'win' - but I expect these to be rare. The voters are streamed and I believe the polls are underestimating the force of the coming electoral tsunami. We'll all know in another few days - and I can't wait!

So if the GOP takes the House, do you think they would actually seat a freak like Franken?

I’m expressing concerns about the never ending corruption in Democratic Party associated with the upcoming elections and you think I’m from DU?

Is YOUR brain plugged in?

I’ll remain cautiously optimistic and side with Rush’s take on all of this.

I guess I could argue myself into depression, but I won’t. 3 more days... that is all, just 3 more days. GET OUT THE VOTE.

There is only so much that can be done via voter fraud and/or intimidation. Things have went so far further downhill under democrat control of the House and Senate and then the WH, this will be a classic whipping and rightfully so.

Hopefully, the Rats get so desperate that they get stupid with their cheating. I hope it is so blatant that it is prosecuted and finally brought to the attention of the public.
