I did an FR search.
I hope this isn’t a dupe.

Oh yeah? And who would she have been talking to without network coverage? This story is not only BS, its not even remotely plausible BS...

What good would a cell phone do her before cell towers?

To me it looks like she’s either adjusting her glasses or holding onto her hat.

Indeed curious!
But the bigger question..
WHO in 1928 do you talk to on a cell phone?
I’ve got Verizon, and inter-temporal service isn’t an option.

We assume she is talking on a cell phone because that is just a normal sight in our world, but if you didn't know about cell phones, this image could be of anything.
For example, she could be holding up a change purse and shaking it. She could be holding a folded scarf in her hands to wipe a raindrop off her ear. She could be listening to the hum of Dilithium crystals.

There’s no mystery. It’s not a cellphone. She’s clearly singing along to a Walkman.

If she’s a time traveler, why is she dressed in the fashion of the 1920’s ?
To: fishtank; a fool in paradise
Well, the secret is out, so we may talk about it. The Bilderbergs had a private cellphone network established around 1925, using advanced technology not generally available until the late 1950s (check the patent records, pal, if you don’t believe me.) How do you suppose these power brokers could exercise so much control over the affairs of the world? This explains much at last, doesn’t it?!
To: fishtank
It’s an i-phone 5, complete with inter-dimensional reception (if you hold it the right way).
To: fishtank
It’s cold, she’s trying to cover her ear, she’s old and she’s talking to herself. Either that or that zebra just far**d ....

What ever the woman is doing she is NOT talking on a cell phone. What a perfectly silly discussion.

Did they do a lot of “on location” filming back in the ‘20s?
