Imagine how Butkus and Ditka must feel. I’m all for Breast Cancer Awareness but pink uniforms and pink shoes is a little over the top for me. Very metrosexual and girlymanish. The players all look like pimps.
Look on the bright side—at least they’re not blowing smoke up your skirt about how AIDS affects everyone, not just people with disgusting lifestyles.

It really started because of Favre’s wife. Apparently very recently (like last week) prostate cancer was given September, so expect the light blue ribbons next year.
Prostate cancer is “honored” with the red hats. Why don’t you pay attention? :-)

Well, I just found out that I have breast cancer, and I appreciate that these men would show their concern and care for women like me. I love men like these.
But then again, many of these 'guys' wear earrings.

Grow up!
I almost feel ashamed to admit it, but that is the first thing I thought when I saw all the pink. There are a lot of cancers out there, and a lot of people who survived many cancers other than breast cancer, with none of the attention.
I’m not complaining, but I get the uneasy feeling that there are a lot of people making a lot of money off of breast cancer promotions that have absolutely nothing to do with breast or any other kind of cancer or paying to “find a cure”.
And before you flame me for my insensitivity, I am 12 years past my original non-breast cancer diagnosis in 1998, and 5 years past my second non-breast cancer diagnosis in 2005.
Look who else it strikes...
