I almost feel ashamed to admit it, but that is the first thing I thought when I saw all the pink. There are a lot of cancers out there, and a lot of people who survived many cancers other than breast cancer, with none of the attention.

I’m not complaining, but I get the uneasy feeling that there are a lot of people making a lot of money off of breast cancer promotions that have absolutely nothing to do with breast or any other kind of cancer or paying to “find a cure”.

And before you flame me for my insensitivity, I am 12 years past my original non-breast cancer diagnosis in 1998, and 5 years past my second non-breast cancer diagnosis in 2005.

AMEN, first thing I think of is how much money someone is scamming off of charity. We could give billions every year, and the diseases will never be cured. Cancer charities exist for the same purpose the NAACP, or teachers unions do......they bring in money, and make people feel O SO WARM. Leave pharmaceutical companies alone, allow private individuals to make zillions off of a cure, that is how a malady is erased.

This is the best response to this post. It is all about money and the fact that people will buy a certain name brand product over another if it has the pink ribbon on it.

I refuse, will not buy anything with the pink ribbon.

This foundation has become a fraud giving money to other organizations, the most famous being Planned Parenthood.

It is also now just a political organization.
