The NON-Recovery Fall is here, and leading into election day, it's expected that higher unemployment figures will not help the Dems.
Related to that, in a shocker, the Cleveland Plain Dealer has endorsed John Kasich for Governor over the incumbent Dem, Strickland. This is a "Did I read that right?" moment: a huge plus for Kasich.
I guess even a Lib paper in the most liberal part of the state can't hide from the truth.
Gorgeous day here. A bit nippy, I think. Fingers and toes are slightly blue. But the sky is a gorgeous deep blue. Some of my azaleas are in bloom and my tea olive is blooming, too. The air is redolent with it.
Yes, not onlly possible, anxiety and depression are related. That’s why they prescrible Atavan or Xanax for anxiety in addition to Prozac or Paxil...;-))

Ever wake with a nagging to eat someting, a certain food? I did this morning, wanting shrimp. I go to the doctor and just might get a few pounds for supper...boil some, fry some....smack, smack!!!!

Yes. A few weeks ago I want ramen noodles. The craving went on for days. I bought some, but never ate them.
My dad is off to MonkeyTown for his eyeball shot, too. LionsDaughter is going with him. I told him to let her drive over, too. He declined.

We attend the Presby church and a lot of times I wear a hat. I even have a gray cowboy hat where I dressed it with lace scallops and pearls, it matches a jacket.

That’s about the best time for me and God to have a talk, sometimes I feel like He’s not listening, but down deep I know he is. I feel the same as Billy Graham’s daughter, we’ve allowed God to be taken from our schools, public areas, even our halls of government cannot talk about God, and being the gentleman he is, he’s backed away and will not interfere.
We have a new word added to our American language:DHIMMITUDE.

I was surprised at how much I enjoyed it. A tad TOO much nutmeg in it but it was very soothing and comforting.
I can see making some of that to have as a quick but warm pickme up at the end of a chilly fall day.
I’m bacl Jemian for the moment. About 15 years ago I asked someone about wearing a hat to church when I was going to be a godmother to a child christened in the Catholic church. I was told I was dating myself. HAHA! I love hats.
I was born in 1955. I remember ladies wearing hats to church, but that died out when Jackie left the White House. We used to wear gloves, too. I am NOT sad to not have gloves.
Our senior’s group ( you can be 50 and join - I’m not@:)) wanted to hold an Open House last month. SO someone said we shold dress like one of the ladies dressed to come to the monthly meeting. She had on a dress, gloves , hat, etc. All I could think of was “southern belle”.
I can assure you I did not wear a dress or gloves to the function!
Just received a call from hubby. His grandmother did not wake up this morning. The last we heard she was still alive, but in the hospital. When it rains, ..... I love this woman. She’s our only grandparent still living.
I’ve never had it either. I love butternut squash, though.
Oh my goodness. I am so sorry. It seems like everything is being dumped on you right now. (((HOB))) Prayers ascending.
