Good evening.
The NON-Recovery Fall is here, and leading into election day, it's expected that higher unemployment figures will not help the Dems.
Related to that, in a shocker, the Cleveland Plain Dealer has endorsed John Kasich for Governor over the incumbent Dem, Strickland. This is a "Did I read that right?" moment: a huge plus for Kasich.
I guess even a Lib paper in the most liberal part of the state can't hide from the truth.
Good morning. Prayers continue.
Thanks Sweetie; and for Sarah too. I get angry when I think of her supervisor. Fool!
Thank you.
AMEN! AMEN! AMEN!
Glad things are looking better!
Skipping the news sounds very therapeutic.
I can’t stand the smug smile he has at the end of these commercials.
It was....
I find myself getting depressed and anxious at the same time. Is that possible?
The left side of his face looks like he’s suffered a mild stroke.
Thanks. I think I’m going to begin putting together hats for all of my dressy outfits. It is not unusual to see ladies wear hats in church in some denominations down here, but it isn’t usual in my denomination. I think I may just do my part to change that.
Thank you very much for your compliments.
She was a very good actress. It never came across like that on the screen.
The housekeeper is a know liar and Allred is a miserable leech!
Heard the Best caller near the end of Bennett's show...
A guy from Brooklyn...said he used to work with Chavez on organizing workers, voting drives, etc...a man from the Left, who's moved right, largely due to 9/11 but other things too...he specifically mentioned abortion & his now strong Christian faith.
He said he had been worried about the Left's rally in Dc, but after seeing it, he could tell they were in trouble: not organized well, or energized.
He's campaigning for an R cong. candidate on Staten Is.
And earlier Bennett had some more calls from R candidates running against long entrenched Dems...
It was all very encouraging...
MKH, you are so right about that irritating little smirk. But, till, I do believe that is right. It does look like he’s getting over a stroke or maybe Bell’s Palsy. That might add to the irritating smirk. At any rate, it doesn’t make me feel more inclined toward ObamaCare. It makes me dislike Griffith.
Depressed and anxious....yes, that would describe a lot of us tight now. I get up every night at 3 a.m. to worry. It has become a family joke.
At Bible study we're reading Joshua...so yesterday it was the chapter about Jericho, and the warning that it should not be rebuilt...but of course it was...
So that reminded one of the gals of a trip her family took to the Holy Land when she was a young teenager.
They visited the site of Jericho, and saw the archeological digs there
And as they looked at the layers of the old city which had been exposed, her mother said "See, that's what happens when you don't dust!"
She's never forgotten that, and of course we all laughed.
I do like it. It reminds me of the story where the father was quizzing his kids at dinner about the sermon that day. The son asked the dad if it was true that it says in the Bible, “...dust you were and dust you will become”? The dad affirmed that. The boy next said, “well, I don’t know who it is, but someone is either coming or going under my bed.”
I’m really glad to hear your step-mom is better, that’s great news!
Good morning all, multi-tasking here like crazy.
Speaking of dust, Sarah is a cleaning fool lately. Funny how that has recently happened. Johnny has allergies. Her ma has allergies too, but I guess that doesn't count. ;-)
Not complaining.
