Had butternut squash soup for lunch today.

Something I never had in my lifetime.

I was surprised at how much I enjoyed it. A tad TOO much nutmeg in it but it was very soothing and comforting.

I can see making some of that to have as a quick but warm pickme up at the end of a chilly fall day.

I’ve never had it either. I love butternut squash, though.

If you make the Butternut Squash soup, try roasting it first brushed with Vermont Maple Syrup...I really like doing it that way...;-))
