OK, so I have read a little, listened a little, and figured that the question of Obama's citizenship and birth would never be answered, so why dive into it. But just now, I listened to Anderson Cooper on CNN (I know, I know, why am I watching PRAVDA?) blabber on and on in a very assertive, denunciatory tone to someone from Arizona over that state's recent passage of a bill requiring presidential candidates to prove their citizenship. Cooper went on ad nauseum about how stupid anyone is who questions Obama, how the birth certificate has been PROVEN to be authentic, that the matter should be settled. But the adamancy in his voice bothered me. Why is he so exercised about it if that is really true? He'd be calm, or so I said to myself. Anyway, anybody else watch this?

If it’s been “proven” then why is everyone so upset? What makes them think this is about Obama if his birth certificate has already been furnished?
Did anyone else catch Cooper stating that the clause is “naturalized born citizen”, or did I mis-hear him?
“naturalized born” LOL, that’s a pretty deep stretch wouldn’t you say? But then, I don’t really think anyone thinks Cooper is the brightest bulb on the tree.

The phrase “natural born citizen” was specifically demanded in the requirement for President by George Washington evidently at the suggestion of John Jay. What it meant to those august men was that both parents, at the time of birth, had to be citizens of this country. That the any President must have a natural whole allegiance from birth to this country.

Exactly! That's why it grinds my gears to hear/see people that are supposedly Conservatives say to "give up" or "it isn't worth the time" or other such BS. How foolish to let the left and its propaganda organs define the issue and deride anyone that understands the real issue as a "birther." This is a very big mistake and our Country is sure to suffer (even more than we are now) if we let this go unchallenged. The trolls will never give up, their intent is to stop this in its tracks. But true Conservatives must not be afraid of their lame labels and be willing to continue to pursue this challenge, to give up is a form of national suicide.

The left and its propagandists never to to first principles on much of anything. Rather, they wish to constantly distort the issues and build on the "precedents" of many extra-Constitutional and un-Constitutional cases to further the destruction of our Country. They've been at this a long time, and now we are beginning to see the real fruits of their illegitimate labor.
And as a direct result of their deliberate creation of an indoctrination system called "education," the vast majority of our fellow citizens are too ignorant to even understand the core or roots of most issues. Very dangerous circumstances we have allowed to devolve around us...
There are 3. Natural Born Citizen is different than naturalized or just citizen(because you were born on US soil). The 3rd only applies to POTUS and VP. It has to do with allegiance. Why wouldn’t the founders just say ‘citizen’ if they wanted to include just citizens? There are no less than 4 US supreme court cases that sought to challenge this and in each case the challenge was lost. Think about it. I know many people are born here to one US citizen parent but the whole family lives over seas and are subjects of that country. Do you want these people to become president? I am not a constitutional scholar but I do know that you can find this on the web in many places. In any case, if anyone doesn’t agree with this part of the constitution, there is remedy for them. Its called a constitutional amendment.
